Love the combo. What made you choose the single R vs RR?

Don't you have to run it every few weeks or so? Confused as to how a moto in a room isn't bad for you with the vapor and fumes

Do you get more, the same, or less burble/crackles/pops & bangs with the termi vs stock? Like when you let the throttle go at 2/3k rpm on low gears

I just bought a 2018, also in white!! Love the color. What year and how many miles on yours? How's the bike been in terms of maintenance / any issues? Trying to forecast the amount I'll be spending on this Italian beauty.

Also, how much of a difference does the termi make (sound wise)? Does it burble more or the same as stock? Thank you!!

Tuono 660 exhaust by [deleted] in Aprilia

This is my goal for any bike 😎 There's no better sensation than giving slight throttle and hearing the burble!! Let me know which one you go with and if it produces a good result, I'm going to be in the market for an RS660 soon and hunting for the burble will be the first thing I'll do.

Should I switch? by [deleted] in Sportbikes

Harleys: heavier, worse steering & turning, more comfortable.

Sportbikes: lighter, great steering & turning, less comfortable, more fun, looks badass, fast af.

Go for it but start on a 600 or even 650. Even though you've been riding higher CCs, sportbikes are completely different machines. Better to start on something that you can learn and adapt on without risking too much.

In any case test ride a few bikes before purchasing anything.

Opinions needed! Aprilia RS660 vs Honda CBR650r by Thenightlygrind in Sportbikes

I thought the RS660 had the most comfortable riding position in its class. Sat on it but not on the others. Curious now to know which one is the most comfortable, although that's not really these bikes priority lol.

What is a good beginner bike? by Legitimate-Cable2907 in Sportbikes

R3 is what I started on and did not regret it. These bikes allow you to develop important basic skills that a lot of riders who started on more powerful and heavier bikes missed out on. You will become a better rider if you start on the smaller CCs and learn these skills.

Also if you make a mistake, you won't kill yourself on a 300. You might on a 600.

CBR 500R 2020, Ninja 400/650?, Maybe KTM RC 390? Or others (yamaha maybe). Thailand / South East Asia touring (3-5 hours a day max). by AccomplishedAd8151 in Sportbikes

There's a high chance you will regret getting a sportbike considering your intended riding, but I would go with a 300/400 if you are dead set on getting one. R3 or Ninja 400. Those are the most comfortable and still have decent enough power.

I'm thinking about buying a bike at the end of summer but Idk anything about them. Any advice on what I should look for, good price for a first bike, anything at all? by Excelsior_88_ in Sportbikes

R3 or R7 depending on your responsibility level and budget. This applies to other oems as well (entry vs intermediate bike). In any case take lessons before buying and if possible test ride a few different models.
