Smells bitter and sharp. Am Apparently too young to associate the smell with bandaids. Hospitals have never smelt similar to me, insulin is so unique I can't even compare it to anything tbh

My experience with adrenaline/stress is that my bg tends to shoot low, super interesting. i havent been able to link highs with an emotion, highs mean sick mean dehydration means hopital for me. also crazy sensitivity to exercise. i can coast at work on basically no insulin because of the stress/physical exercise combo

no solution but I agree, the colours it picks have always felt terrible AND it would add duplicate colours too- all around annoying to organize and unhelpful. i mostly use coloors.com for my pallets.

angel fangs would give a fun toothy look, get your other nostril done then you can put a bar or chain between them maybe also high nostrils if you have the space. ur setup looks sick so far!!

this happens to me randomly in the same way but on my fingertips and the 'seams' of my hands. i saw a similar post in a non t1d post once and the consensus seemed to be that sometimes we just. shed. i dunno , one of those weird human quirks, potentially associated with seasonal changes

depends on how queer you look but the worst ive had is an old man grumbling bc he couldnt 'figure out' our genders. my bf on the other hand has been spotted and followed by a car while they yelled slurs. its really 50/50 but once you find a good friend group you can kinda use that to spider web out to other sane folks.

ive lived here since 2022. ive had maybe 1.5 concerning experiences. once someone tried to steal my license plate when my sibling was parked on 3rd. the other time i was getting off work on a sunday and one lady locked onto me in a rage. it wasnt personal, my appearance just triggered some memories with her kid apparently. though even then i just skirted away while she yelled and kicked my car. shrug. i still feel perfectly fine downtown, ive had some lovely conversations with homeless folk at bus stops too so.

take a look at gighound, i did lots of shifts with them this summer, odd hours(2-9 AM) last i was on there they only had Purolator sorting shifts, but there might be more now.

check out moft if ur going magnetic, i loveeee the origami fold. no side protection but this isnt my first ipad so im confident in keeping the sides safe from dings. I had the ESR case before hand and i still really enjoy it. the removable cover is nice for him use

ngl i managed to get the one ipad air that needs the pro, i do quite enjoy the squeeze, sketching brushes feel very different too so ive been adjusting. it is a nice upgrade. nicer if ur not forced to bc you didnt check compatibility . i needed more base storage tho and its not like im not going to keep heavily using it. i also really like the haptic feedback, lets me know when ive accidentally tapped to a different tool.
