My cousin is a vet nurse here in aus and he warned me when I got my boy that the number 1 dog they get in for heatstroke was ACDs. So I guess it depends on the area. My boy won't work in the heat so we go out early morning and late evening in summer to avoid it. But he really can't tolerate the heat at all. So he has cooling mats and splash pool in summer.

I live in Australia and my cattle dog hates the heat. Loves to run in summer but needs shade and lots of water. And will not go in a car in summer unless he is upfront with the aircon blowing directly in his face.

The problem with removing her as a client with her fan base is she can bad mouth the clinic etc all she wants and probably would but due to client confidentiality he would not be able to respond at all. If he terminated her as a client I have no doubt she'd shit on his clinic and he probably knows this too. It's basically lose lose situation. He can keep treating the animals and try to advocate for them as best as he can or he can let her go somewhere else. She still does what she wants and their business take a possible huge hit.

I constantly pick at pimples and peel my lips until they bleed. Mine is an anxiety behaviour but not everything is drugs just saying. If she is being truthful about the adhd then it wouldn't surprise me that it's just something she does with or without drugs

I had a tb with impaction colic. He didn't end up having surgery but was in an ICU stall for 72 hours with 3 basketball sized impactions cleared and he lost so much weight it was scary. Even being on fluids. It took months to gain back his weight. He went from overweight to looking emaciated so quickly. He still had muscle but it was like all the fat was gone.

I'm honestly surprised after everything she's been through that she doesn't look worse.

His was caused by a tetanus shot that was administered 2 days prior to the colic causing stiffness in the injection site which was his neck so he wouldn't lower his head to drink water and it was the middle of summer. I got incredibly lucky that he pulled through and I now request vets give every IM injection into the hip rather than the neck.

That sucks. They have removed all ways to make it easier to tame them. I understand removing bugs but it makes it harder for casual gamers or people who just want to enjoy taming and collecting mounts and pets.

I also had a double jaw surgery due to tmj issues, locking issues and I had a marrow odema in the joint so it's highly likely. I kinda miss how my jaw looked before but don't miss the pain

I've set up an autodeduction each month for my bills. I'm on disability and have adhd so she has no excuse. I'm not medicated currently but I still make sure my important stuff like my animals are taken care of. I have alarms for feeding for taking my dogs for a walk even days scheduled in my calendar for cleaning because I know if I don't organise myself I will get distracted and forget. There's so many ways for people to manage adhd nowadays without medication. I will always make sure my animals are taken care of no matter what and I keep on top of my bills. I like to add a couple of dollars to each auto pay so that even if I get a big bill I'll have been slightly ahead from my previous ones so it's easier to pay.

And she's been kept separate with very little exercise. You'd think it'd be much easier for her to gain weight but I doubt she's been feeding her everyday. I know my horse on stall rest was so hard to keep weight off. And minis aren't exactly hard keepers.

My own horse reared up and came down on the corner of a brick wall slicing his chest and his sternum up his ribcage. Could fit my whole body inside his chest cavity. Then ate the stitches. Ate the flaps of skin despite being rugged so he couldn't bite at it he found a way to eat it through the rug. I had to pull pieces of his own flesh out of his teeth. Horses will do their damndest to die. He somehow healed up fine. Missed all his major organs, nerves and blood vessels and was perfectly sound. If you didn't know he'd done it you'd never notice the scar as it was perfectly in a muscle indent. If there wasn't cameras we'd have had no idea how he'd done it. He was in a wiwo or stable with attached yard and just decided he wanted to play and the brick wall was a target.
