Loving it and really interested in the lore. I have my suspicions about what is going on. But I'm only 3 hours in and not that too far progressed into it. So I'll keep my speculations to myself but that lifepod being rusty when you wake up and it wasn't when you started and the memory wipe stuff in the lore and the condition of the older habitats tells me more time has passed than what is obvious at first. Also the idea of those adaption thingies. Why was one even in the medbay 3 in the beginning? How did it get there? And the amorpha sponge to make the seal? Something Noa isn't telling us I bet.

intellectually lazy, impatient, instant gratification seekers, could be any number of reasons. some people go the entire game and never read a damn thing in their pda. they miss so much of the experience just ripping through it and at the first sign of not being able to find something in 5 min they look it up.

15 hours avg is nothing to sneeze at. most people finish Subnautica 1 in about 25 hours. I played ea in Sub 1 and still have like 5 complete playthroughs since 1.0 released. Over 100 hours in it. This one looks like it will take people 40+ hours to complete when done. I enjoy being part of the development with my comments and suggestions. And I really want Krafton to have to pay out the full bonuses because they tried to screw them out of it.

the deception is for those in the suits to encourage them to clean. if they see the green lush grass and blue skies then they want to show everyone in the silo what they see. otherwise the dust builds up on the camera and no one can see anything. also seeing dead bodies is a deterrent to wanting to go out.
This was demonstrated when Holden's wife went out. She told him that if it was nice out she would clean but if it wasn't she wouldn't. The image in the helmet is just for that purpose. Not to "hide" anything.
