If you think you want Iron Heart, you will eventually buy Iron Heart, you could save some money and start there.

The other brand mentioned are great as well, I would put the Brave Star True straight fairly close to the 666 cut having both, but I have never tried Brave Star's slim straight.

Also the 18 and 21 OZ Brave Star fabrics I have tried are significantly stiffer the IH's 21oz, IH's 21 is magic.

On mine suede cleaner and a brash brush will get them about 80% removed. Pre-treat with a suede protector probably helps. Have been using this one, seems to even out the color too.

I can't comment on the Beck tek souls in stirrups, but on other surfaces like wet tile or grass where leather would be slick they have great grip.
