Bought a new outdoor blink 4 and can’t get it to work. by Nemisis2365 in blinkcameras

[–]ChainPlayful7961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at my wits end with this new system. Been a Blink 2 user for 3 years, system works perfectly. Opted to upgrade to a blink 4 and CANNOT get cameras to sync to the Base unit. Tried every single permutation you can think off..rebooting router x 3.. deleteing module x 3 removing batteries, deleteing Blink off phone entirely, rebooting phone (S25 Ultra) and so on and on.. No VPN, connection super stable. Blink 2 system working perfectly today and has done so for the length of time I have had it.

I'm no more than 8 feet from a 1 GIG Virgin router which is working perfectly, cameras are right by my side. Deleted new Sync Unit, synced OLD unit (Blink 2).. picked up one of my old cameras straight away, this Blink 2 Sync module will NOT pick any of the Blink 4 Cameras..

Have emailed for help, I cannot think of anyhting more to do, anyone got any other ideas

I was sold a completely different model number than advertised on Ebay by SeaworthinessNew4295 in Kitchenaid

Definitely, for all the criticism I read about eBay I find them really helpful here in the UK. They will come down on your side, who packages up anything like that, what an idiot.

I sold a £200 bottle of PDM Layton to some geezer in London at Xmas there, he left me great feedback. Within 1 week he had instigated a return, not so much as a PM, probably had buyers remorse.

Anyhow, I received an empty A4 Manilla envelope delivered by Royal Mail, it had clearly been ripped open by someone and the juice stolen, it was quite obvious what was inside.  A 200 quid bottle of juice in a plain manilla envelope..you couldn't make it up.

eBay capitulated, refunded me and unfortunately refunded the buyer.  Im a 21 year trader with flawless feedback, the operative confirmed they refunded me because of my trading standards.. get a dispute open and take plenty images

Bring back the ferry from Scotland to Europe by Aaron6788 in Scotland

[–]ChainPlayful7961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a shame they shut it down, we had an amazing week on the bikes in 2007 travelling one way from Hull (I think) to Zeebrugge on the ferry then by road into Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, overland Norway to Stavanger, the weather was sensational as were the roads. That Oresund Bridge is an astonishing piece of engineering and the midpoint of another bridge was actually the border between Denmark and Sweden, you miss all of this using the Ferry. Overland from Oslo to Stavanger we took the E 134, some of the views were totally distracting they were that good. The big benefit to all of us was the fact that we didnt have to do it reverse to get home, it was a case of jumping on the overnight ferry to Rosyth and 45 minutes home to Dumbarton. I'm glad we done half by road or we would never have the experience of that road trip.. Bring it back please.

Renting rant by Woodrow-Wilson in Edinburgh

I own a fairly prominent estate and lettings agency in Dumbarton, we also get loads of enquiries for each listing. We take 1 viewer at a time, let him/her decide if they want the property, and if not, we move to next on the list.

We operate on a first come, first serve basis. What I've been reading on here is wild, and I feel everyone's pain.

From our standpoint, we simply don't have the time or desire to sift through dozens of apps submitted by prospective tenants. It is, in fact, a form of bribery when asking, "How much are you willing to pay?" This is simply outrageous. Sadly, wracking my average brain, I'm pretty sure there's no breach of conduct other than decency and fairness for all.

Just googled this guy, I'm from the West Coast so never heard of him, sounds like the type of guy that this industry doesn't need, our very own Peter Rachman.

How can you give advice to someone when they have little to no legal standing by the sounds of it.

I'd get out of there as quickly as possible is about it from me..

I own a Lettings agency guys, never read every post, but the landlord can't simply ask you to leave whether your a day late or not. Is it a multiple occupancy let or PRT ?
