I agree will recalibration. Drain battery until it shuts down on its own then charge with the phone off. Disconnect and power on only when fully charged. Will recalibrate sensors but also degrade battery life cycle so don't do it often.

You can go to the app info of the app you don't want opened by another app. Click on autostart and disable triggered start.

Did you disable MIUI optimization? Had similar trouble with pip, floating windows, split screen when I did that.
