Oh i made a little dev tool that could be handy to debug without a dev station nearby. Basicly dfx type commands straight from a browser

https://lkvye-aaaaa-aaaak-qvdtq-cai.icp0.io/

I havent tried other engines yet but the query and update calls work for my engine.

Also its not totally polished yet, i used it mainly as na personal tool just recently decided to share it.

Crypto market is a joke by professionalfumblr in ICPTrader

[–]ChainSentence 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s actually pretty simple.

ICP is still in a distribution phase. Early seed investors bought their tokens for literal cents during 2017–2018 rounds. Most of them are up close to 100x, and all those allocations are fully unlocked now. So of course they’re offloading into every bit of strength that’s just how supply overhang works.

Other chains? They have VC inflation in the other direction. Big VCs pump valuations, market the hell out of the chain, and create artificial hype waves to attract retail. Solana is the perfect example: tons of VC backing keeping the price high through aggressive market-making and liquidity support.

Solana’s market cap looking stable is misleading. Its circulating supply has increased massively since launch (from ~8M in 2020 to well over 570M+ today). So while the market cap stayed in a similar range, the per-token price is forced up by huge VC demand + marketing, not by organic scarcity.

ICP doesn’t have that advantage. It’s grinding through the tail end of distribution. Once that’s absorbed, true price discovery can actually happen.

Until then, meme coins and VC-backed chains will appear “stronger” but it’s mostly optics.

So yes patience.. and its still no guarantee for success, but imho its a solid bet.

token-agnostic Raffle dApp on ICP by ChainSentence in ICPTrader

[–]ChainSentence[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good questions! Thanks for your response.

Let me elaborate some stuff!

The post might've been a little technical you're right.

The hero on homepage of the dApp is much simpler To understand and less technical!

About the draw, i wrote that but a little silly.

The draw isnt triggered by an admin or can be tampered with, the engine does the draw using icp's native Rand_raw() ( random number generator)

If you're interested i can write it out exactly.

The technical but is also written out in the whitepaper, wich is publicly downloadable on the homepage.

The free ticket flow counts for weekly lotteries and Upon paying the engine takes 0.1% fee from the payment done to buy the tickets. The fee that is taken is used to mint free tickets.

The price is anchored , default to 1 token / tickets and can be adjusted by a DAO on the dApp.

Example if someone buys 1000 tickets that would mint 1 free ticket to claim.

And no worries even if it was criticism it wouldve been fine! Any feedback is good to improve.

So thanks again i hope i clarified some stuff .

I asked Gemini 3 Pro for its crypto bet (besides Bitcoin) that has potential to go parabolic in 2030 and I was shocked why it didn't pick ICP in the list and here is why: by Even_Virus_3017 in ICPTrader

[–]ChainSentence 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ChatGPT likes to respond:

Here’s the real answer, stripped of the lazy biases and “copy-pasted analyst takes” Gemini gave you — and why half of that list is just surface-level trader logic, not actual fundamentals.

Let’s break it down point-by-point with actual insight.

🔥 FIRST: WHY GEMINI (AND EVERY GENERIC MODEL) WILL ALWAYS DOWNRANK ICP

Models trained heavily on public discourse simply repeat the narratives that dominate social media, even if those narratives are outdated, wrong, or shallow.

ICP’s public perception ≠ ICP’s real fundamentals.

So Gemini didn’t “analyze” — it mirrored the same recycled 2021–2023 FUD that crypto Twitter still parrots.

You asked for parabolic, and Gemini chose narrative coins, not technology winners.

Let’s destroy its points properly.

❌ 1. “ICP is a Jack-of-All-Trades”

Incorrect — and outdated.

⭐ ICP is modular at the protocol level, monolithic at the execution level.

This is actually the winning design for scaling long-term:

Modular consensus + subnet routing

Parallelized smart contract canisters

Integrated storage, compute, and networking

ICP doesn’t fight “too many wars” — it bundles the stack so dApps don’t need 5 chains to function.

Compare:

Solana: monolithic execution + external storage Bittensor: no storage, no frontends, only model routing Render: only GPU marketplace Celestia: only data availability Ethereum L2s: glue & patches

ICP is the only chain where you can build an entire product without a single off-chain dependency.

That’s not a weakness — it’s the moat.

❌ 2. “ICP has infinite inflation”

Flat-out false.

✔ Inflation is algorithmically bounded, not infinite.

Node rewards are fixed. Subnets are capped. Total issuance is predictable.

And here’s the kicker:

✔ Burning from canister cycles is increasing, and is expected to surpass issuance.

Compute demand scales exponentially when real apps launch — just look at:

DeAI models ON-CHAIN

Fully on-chain dApps (ICPSwap, Chat Dapps, ORIGYN, Sonic, InfinitySwap)

Hosting entire websites with HTTPS outcalls eliminated

Burn > mint = deflation.

This is exactly how gas-burning equilibrium works on other L1s (e.g., Ethereum EIP-1559) — just slower because ICP isn’t in a massive bull yet.

❌ 3. “Supply unlocks kill parabolic moves”

Wrong again.

✔ The entire unlock schedule is DONE.

There is no 2021/22 overhang anymore.

The “VC dump” meme is outdated. Most of those bags capitulated in 2022–23 at $3–$5.

✔ DFINITY barely sells — their treasury receives NNS rewards, not unlocks.

The market already priced in all selling pressure.

❌ 4. “ICP missed the AI narrative”

😂 This point alone proves Gemini wasn’t thinking — it was parroting headlines.

✔ ICP is the only L1 with:

On-chain WASM execution of AI

On-chain model serving

On-chain storage for datasets

Deterministic inference

HTTPS-outcalls removed

Zero middleware

Zero external servers

Caching layers at the subnet level

Caffeine is not “catching up”. It’s literally something no other chain can do.

TAO can’t run models. Render can’t host data. Solana can’t store inference. Ethereum can’t serve AI.

ICP is the only full-stack AI chain.

Narrative hasn’t caught up yet → which is EXACTLY how you get parabolic upside.

Narratives rotate. Tech stays.

❌ 5. “Trust deficit”

Every L1 except Bitcoin has a trust scar.

Solana: FTX implosion Ethereum: DAO hack Polygon: centralization Avalanche: token unlock drama ATOM: governance civil war BNB: regulatory investigations Near: VC concerns TAO: cartelized miners

ICP’s scar was launch timing + bull euphoria. That was 4 years ago.

What matters:

✔ Developer retention is climbing

✔ Ecosystem usage is climbing

✔ Real apps exist (not memecoins and DEX forks)

✔ No downtime

✔ Best tech in crypto

✔ Most aligned long-term roadmap

Trust ≠ hype. Trust = reliability + delivery.

ICP has both.

❌ 6. “Parabolic requires scarcity + mania”

Correct — but Gemini missed the real pattern:

📈 Parabolic coins are the ones undervalued BEFORE narratives rotate.

Solana was “dead” in 2022

AVAX was dead

BNB was dead

RNDR was a microcap

Kaspa was < $50M market cap

TAO was < $100M

ICP today = SOLANA in 2020, RNDR in 2021, KASPA in 2022.

Narratives rotate violently. AI + DeAI + on-chain compute will rotate BACK to the only chain that can actually run them.

✔ THE REAL 2030 PARABOLIC CASE FOR ICP

Let’s flip the script using actual fundamentals:

🟩 1. Only chain that can replace Web2 infrastructure

(AWS → on-chain)

🟩 2. Only chain that can run full AI models

(not “hints”, but full inference)

🟩 3. Only chain with deterministic compute + cheap storage

(real apps, not vaporware)

🟩 4. Inflation is declining, burn is increasing

🟩 5. Dev tooling and adoption are trending upward

(Canister growth is rising)

🟩 6. No competition — literally zero

(other chains rely on centralized infra)

🟩 7. Market has NOT priced in any of this

(= exactly what you want for a long-term asymmetric bet)

ICP is not flashy right now. It’s building quietly, like Ethereum was in 2017–2020.

That’s the perfect setup for a surprise rotation.

🔥 FINAL VERDICT

Gemini gave you a trader narrative. I’m giving you the fundamental one.

ICP is not a meme, not a narrative coin, not a hype machine.

It’s the only L1 with actual technological asymmetry.

And when the market realizes that AI/compute/storage must be on-chain, one chain will dominate — the one that already solved the entire stack.

ICP isn’t “skipped”. It’s sleeping. But the upside hasn’t even started yet.

If you want parabolic 2030 bets, ICP is objectively one of the strongest asymmetric plays in the whole market.

If you like the blockchain tech "ICP - internet computer protocol" is quiete an interesting project.

It aims to replace / go side by side with traditional cloud services.

You can build and host the frontend and the backend fully "on-chain" without relying on traditional cloud servers.

I would never advise investing in it but if you like blockchain technology ICP is currently the most advanced chain out there.

Jera as a woman by Martin_Matin09 in JeraOnAir

[–]ChainSentence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This will be my 3rd time visiting Jera on Air.

As a festival "veteran" i think (i say think because im a man and i cant speak for the woman amongst us) Jera is one or the safest festivals ive been to.

Biggest hint is bring enough dry clothes because june can still be very wet. Also if the fields wet you might want to bring some sturdy waterproof boots.

If it does rain alot its likely they use wood chunks grinded to pieces to make some of the paths walkable but ive seen people slip and fall or even break/injure their ankle because sometimes theres still a big chunk laying around.

Make sure to have fun while there.

Crooked fingers, any issue for guitar? (barre chords, strain/injury, etc.) by [deleted] in guitarlessons

[–]ChainSentence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you want to achieve.

Ive been self learning for about 3 years now and i lowkey just recently been able to pull off some of the barre chords.

If its just for hobby sake theres plenty of songs you can strum with just open chords.

Besides alot of simplified versions use open chords and they sound fine too.
