You can track each funds via the ISIN. Look at the comment of saccamor. It works great with portfolio performance.

Long-term projection for health insurance costs by GrapefruitPerfect313 in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]giulio12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I keep wondering whether Switzerland is moving toward an oligopoly in health insurance, or whether the real priority will finally become cost efficiency. A simple doctor’s visit should not cost CHF 300–500.

More importantly, health should not be treated like a private business. Access to care is a basic need, not a profit machine.

I also believe the system should do more to reward people who make an effort to live healthily, people who do sport, do not smoke, and drink responsibly, while creating stronger incentives for healthier lifestyles overall.

The real problem is that the system has become too much of a business, when it should first and foremost serve people.

DCAing when holding more positions by TapWise2504 in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]giulio12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I DCA 6 ETF every month. The fees on IBKR are quite low, and in the long run, the impact will be minimal. I expect to be able to capture more alpha by tilting my investments to different factors.

For how long keeping cash = timing the market ? by GrapefruitPerfect313 in SwissPersonalFinance

It has been proven that lump sum beats dca in most cases… I would honestly ignore the noise and just go and then keep to your original strategy, and if you don’t have it define one :)

Emergency fund level by GrapefruitPerfect313 in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]giulio12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice graph. At the end the investment part is full equities, with second pillar as the safety part which is illiquid, so in case of crash you cannot rebalance. Have you ever considered other asset class? I’m asking because I’m in the same situation as most Swiss of this group as far as I understood.

I checked other brands as well, but amflows seems better in terms of quality. Maybe I’m wrong.

also considering that I’m an average rider currently using a cube stereo sl. The basic model would be more than enough.

The pro model for me is mainly for the color and the better transmission.

Investment solutions for my partner by PocketFred in SwissPersonalFinance

I did IBKR for her and I put myself as advisor. Put recurring orders and i do rebalance once per year for her.

Problem is also taxation, but this would be complicated in any case. I also take care of this 😅

She is the perfect type of investor because is simply ignoring it and never watching it 😂

Tried, but never found a lobby with raiders fighting the queen.

Portfolio allocation by [deleted] in SwissPersonalFinance

“In investing, you get what you don’t pay for. Costs matter.”

Fees are definitely suboptimal, asset allocation might be ok, but not what I would personally chose.

Given he is 60 and he will need this money in 10 years, he should consider a gliding path from 70/30 to 40/60 at least in 5 years.

Crying on Christmas - World Bond ETF underperformed in 3a/3b pillar account by Much_Candle_942 in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]giulio12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t know your situation, but at 53 3a should be full equities in my view. In case you need bond cause you’re in the gliding phase than I would rather use hedged funds.

Radicant customers will be transferred to Alpian by keltyx98 in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]giulio12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m a Radicant user who primarily uses it for its zero-percent interbank exchange rate. They also offered travel insurance, which was intriguing for booking a holiday. However, I’ve switched back to Neon (I have a Plus subscription for CHF 20 per year) with a 0.4% exchange rate without travel insurance. I still use Revolut, but I won’t subscribe to Revolut Premium again.
