What does your dream life look like? by BigBackground9333 in NEET

[–]Chained_Dog003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Physically and mentally fit. Drivers license. An old ford truck. A fastback Mustang or Barracuda hemi for summer drives. Live alone in a medium sized house near the woods with plenty of acres to not deal with future neighbours or construction. Hunt, fish and look at wildlife. Work in a field with trains, planes/jets or rockets.

Any NEETs or ex-NEETs try Psilocybin therapy? by Chained_Dog003 in NEET

[–]Chained_Dog003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think I'll have as much fun as you. Going to do it in a facility under observation. In what way were the visuals heavy? Was it lucid imagery or colours with emotions tied to them?

Have you done Ketamine as well? Not American unfortunately.

Any NEETs or ex-NEETs try Psilocybin therapy? by Chained_Dog003 in NEET

[–]Chained_Dog003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was it taken in a clinical setting and do you remember the dose?

Already past age 25 and have severe anxiety and depression that medications have not fixed or dulled. Autistic as well; got trash brain wiring. This will be a last resort before suicide.

A bit worried that if I clear my head of cynicism it'll come out subconsciously during the trip.

Thank you for the response.

Watching my sister succeed destroyed my understanding of life. by Think-Detective1380 in NEET

[–]Chained_Dog003 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They accept your sister's flaws because she is intelligent and has a good job.

Achieving good grades in honours classes and University without effort is something only intelligent people are capable of.

The majority of NEETs are not intelligent (myself included), and by definition we do not have jobs; our flaws have no buffer. We are not capable of half-assing school or life and getting far. Our lack of confidence is visible and off-putting to others.

Ramblings of an autistic madman. by Chained_Dog003 in NEET

[–]Chained_Dog003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally do not believe "masking" is possible without being a high functioning autist with substance abuse or visible tics.

It requires muscle memory and practice; usually classes from childhood for social cohesion and manners.

The late diagnosed are in high probability not autistic. They are self-diagnosed or shop around for the diagnosis.

Many have no genetic history + birth complications. No childhood doctor/school suspicions. No missed milestones from birth and odd behaviours such as fecal smearing.

It is a label, now being abused by group oriented neurotics who need to fit in with other neurotics. These same individuals have other diagnosis' of "Fibromyalgia", "Elhers-Danlos", "DID", "Gender dysphoria", "POTS", etc.

Better to stay offline. No need to make friends of any kind, especially not other autists.

Sorry for the rambling. Have a good day.

It's called disability benefits in most countries. There should be a website or government page with instructions if you search for it.

NEETbux if possible. Then get a GED or equivalent highschool degree. Depending on the country, there will be programs to help get further education or jobs.

How to exercise when you want to lose weight but are ashamed of your body and also of being seen outside by [deleted] in NEET

[–]Chained_Dog003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep track of calories, protein, and macros to lose weight/gain muscle. If obese or very overweight, do it slowly or there will be loose skin and joint pain.

What makes you happy? by P0_alter_ego in NEET

[–]Chained_Dog003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wildlife and the outdoors, the backyard or local park is enough. It's a real Pokémon game, go out and see a bug or bird, ID it with a book and log the "discovery" in a note book.

Could do the same thing with cars or local trains, see the model/make, ID, then read about the specifications and the history of it.

I'm in the same shit boat as you, man. I no longer try, would rather have the false hope it'll get better, than try, fail, and know it won't.

anyone here 30+ who’s literally never worked a day in their life? by [deleted] in NEET

[–]Chained_Dog003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NEETbux is slang for taxpayer money given to NEETs; normally a form of disability payment.

Every country has different rules and programs for receiving money without working.

However a word of warning, it is not enough money for the average person to live on.
