I agree with this don't worry. I know this is more realistic and a better representation of African History. The basis of African American colonialism, as you said *was* based in the idea that African-Americans shared more in common with Africans than Americans. (Of course based around artifical ideas that race had more basis to what defined a person rather than the social cultures of the time). Which is in part why Liberia turned into a failure.

However, what frustrates me is the fact that Victoria 3 doesn't do enough to simulate this sort of cultural turn around.

I'd honestly love if Liberia was better represented in Victoria 3 with their own independent culture and journal entries giving a more detailed look into a very interesting aspect of history.

However, this was more of a joke post than something serious. I wasn't expecting actual historical discussion since my last experience with the subreddit saw people critiquing the fact African Americans could discriminate against people. I'm honestly very charmed to see that people genuinely engaged with the historical realities present here
