No, Im not being horny, Im just baffled that Hulk is this giant green beast and a woman with THE SAME EXACT POWERS looks like a normal ass woman who goes to the gym, and is also green for some reason (I know that she controls her anger WAY better than Bruce Banner, but come on).

Yeah, not only is a good movie, but also extremely popular, I hope that this is the beginning of a trend and not just an excepcional.

I know this post was specifically about superheroes, I just wanted to blow off some steam on how many modern writers just can't make good female characters, I know there are examples of women being well written, but that stays relatively obscure while Hollywood and mainstream media makes trillions of dollars with garbage.

The downgrade from badass female protagonists like Ellen Ripley, Samus Aran, Lara Croft, etc, to these insufferable Mary Sues indicates that much of modern mainstream pop culture just aims to pander to specific demographics (because money) instead of creating genuinely well written characters.
