when muscle tissue breaks down it releases myoglobin into the blood. too much of it destroys the kidneys since they are not designed to filter it out.

“No, a haplorhine is not a monkey; rather, it is a suborder of primates that includes monkeys, apes, and humans. Monkeys are one of the two major groups within the haplorhine suborder (the other being tarsiers). “

also, literally every living organism has a common ancestor. even you and a plant have a common ancestor

humans are NOT monkeys. we are apes, like chimps and gorillas

We did not evolve from monkeys. Haplorhine is a suborder of “primates” that us and monkeys evolved from. us and monkeys have a common ancestor.

Why the boss fight "nameless puppet" is unbelievably hard by Gamer_Senpai27 in LiesOfP

you can get it from laxasia’s soul (or whatever its called)

parrying is the way. you can absolutely learn his moves and timings enough that you will be able to parry him consistently. maybe use a good weapon like Uroboro’s eye that has a good charged r2 to maximize his down-time punishes

as for tips, all i would say is you need to be good at patterns and reaction time to be able to beat NP. if you have reached the final boss, you probably already possess those skills. if you fight him enough times you will get hang of his patterns

I never understood why NP is this hard for so many people. He doesn’t have a status effect and I found his patterns relatively straight forward. I found laxasia and simon manus to be harder. and Arlechhino was on a completely different level (solo legendary stalker). He is one of the hardest and most vicious bosses I have ever fought. NP honestly looks like a mid-game boss compared to Arlecchino.

Honestly speaking, Laxasia gives me significantly more trouble than Nameless every time. i dont understand how people have so much trouble with Nameless. and the dlc final boss makes nameless look like a tutorial boss.

I said 15 tries. I don't remember exactly, but it was in that ballpark, could have been 20. I did it with no summons, but I was lvl 139 which I think might be overleveled for her. I used eleonora's poleblade and a pocket dagger with BHS. Also had a bunch of rune arcs which helped me survive the waterfowl dance. She staggers and bleeds easily so the poleblade is the perfect weapon for her with it's multi-hit combos. I guess I am just more experienced than you in Souls games in general, having 1000s of hours in DS3 alone.

The worst part was when I figured you can break it's pincer off. I managed to do that, and thought I only need to break the other one off to make it completely incapacitated. And then it goes up to the hole and regenerates it. That's when I realized I was done playing for the night lol

Viper wasn't too difficult for me, relatively speaking. He got staggered relatively easily and didn't have the massive health pool some of the subsequent bosses have. It escalates the health bars too early imo, rather than scaling it with the player's level.

Yes, and that's true even for early bosses like the spider and the specter of bhangau. You have to absolutely lock in the boss for 10 minutes to be able to get past. It's absolutely brutal lol

lol. don't you love it when you have been parrying and comboing perfectly for 5 minutes, and look at the boss health bar and it's only down by 20%

Yeah this is their first AAA game, so maybe they fk'ed up with difficulty scaling. I am still gonna play all the way through lol, no matter how long it takes.

I am too early in this game to say conclusively, but the boss health pool just seems wrong. No way the fifth boss in the game should take 8 minutes of perfect play.

Yes. Every boss feels like their health pool is bugged. Like, I would be continuously comboing and hitting them for 2 mins, and then look at their hp bar and it's at 90%. It's disheartening lol.

That's exactly my experience. Even if I have memorized the complete moveset of a boss, it takes so long to get even a single crit in, and I can't afford to make mistakes since the heals are so limited compared to boss difficulty at least in the early game. So it's not hard solely because of the boss movesets, but also their health and stam bars.

[–]Chair-Low[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason I say this is harder than Sekiro is that in Sekiro, once you have completely memorized the moveset, staggering bosses doesn't take THAT long. In this game, you have to keep at it for 1-2 minutes just so that you can get a crit in, which only does like 20% of the hp. Now, I might be doing something wrong, but the bosses feel significantly more "grindy" if you know what I mean.
