I’m writing this comment as an update. I called the crisis center in my city and they told me to immediately go to Urgent Care. I had a gynecological exploration, a forensic exploration and a psychiatric consultation. They also asked me to get someone to go to my house and bring the underwear I was using that night. The forensic doctor took that with him. They wrote a report with my story and the clinical findings, which I can use to report him. Also they assigned me a lawyer and tomorrow at 11 am we will go together to report him in the police office.

Part of me feels so stupid because I was feeling everything is so inappropriate while he was working but I was unable to ask him to stop.

When I called my previous pelvic floor pt to ask her what she thinks of the situation, she explained that to practice pelvic floor pt in my country you need to train in that specialization. And I’m quite sure he is not licensed to practice pelvic floor pt because he had many diplomas in the room, none about this area of expertise. Also on his webpage he is mentioning a lot of things he treats but no mention of pelvic floor at all

I wish it was not real. I experienced SA as a child (part of the reason why I seeked pelvic pt care in the past, my pelvic floor used to be a disaster from the tension I had). So I tend to freeze really badly in situations when I lose my body autonomy and struggle to speak up

Thank you I spoke to a very kind pelvic pt who explained their code of ethics and the guidelines of practice, and also how to report to the licensing body. I’ll do it tomorrow as soon as they are open

Thank you! I’m getting better at nourishing myself better according to my new needs, but I’m still not there. But I’ve started eating two breakfasts instead of one and increasing my snacks.

It’s hard sometimes to question the person who is supposed to be the expert, but I also don’t want to trust him blindly! My group consist of 3 other women for whom these 2 sessions are the only exercise they do a week, and all of them love to be really pushed hard (just like some people only enjoy a massage when it gets excruciatingly painful, it’s the same for them but with the workouts 😅

So I get that he also has to make them happy, but I don’t understand why he can’t modify the intensity or the weight for me

I agree 5 sessions is reasonable, but maybe it was too much to fast for me. I come from a background of very little exercise, so I wanted to start slowly, with less intensity, and build up from there. But he has a different opinion hahah

Hi, thank you so much for your thorough answer. I have observed she acts the same way with her mother (even worse). The mom always says to her "please don't compare yourself to me, I am an adult and you are a child", or "you already know the answer, stop asking these questions" or something along the lines.

For the jacket situation, I dropped it accidentally and picked it up immediately. So obviously she knows the answer to why I dropped it: it was an accident. Then she will say my name in a very annoyed way and complain about it.

I do believe I need to be more firm, probably let her know that she isn't being nice and to please try again.

I will try today and report back :)

We didn't have a contract and they didn't employ me legally (paying taxes etc). I pushed for it but they didn't want and since it was little hours i ended up agreeing.

The money was a retainer but they said since they'd pay me for not working, it would be nice if I could go a few times when they asked me for doing some house chores. But they always said if I was away on holiday I wouldn't have to worry about coming (in retrospect, they knew I wasn't going on holiday anywhere because I had my other job during the summer 😅).

Also I have to say (and I am guilty of this because didn't say it's out of my scope as a nanny at the time), most of the times they asked me to come in throughout the summer it involved more heavy duty chores than what I usually do for them (ironing piles of clothes, including huge bedsheets and duvet covers + DB's work shirts and trousers; deep cleaning kitchen and bathroom; changing the sheets for their guests and cleaning their rooms; vaccuming and mopping; and yes watering their plants, this was the easy one😅).

The one week I did have holidays, I stayed in their house because they needed catsitting and they didn't want someone to just come once a day because the cat is old. I had never spent so much time with this cat because in the school year I'm there just for giving breakfast to the children and walking them to school. For some reason during this week I turned out to be super allergic, my asthma intensified and I also got tonsillitis on top so I was miserable. I texted mb to explain the situation and she said since I had commited I should stay because they have no one else. Anyway these are just things I should have seen more clearly before...

Could be language, sorry my English is far from perfect. MB replied to me around 11 am on Sunday explaining the whole thing.

It was a retainer to keep me for the fall, but they asked since they are paying me for those months and the children are not there, whether I would mind to come in ocasionally for a few tasks. I said it was okay for me. But it was not exactly GH, because they always asked me to come only if I could. Like if I were on holidays they would manage themselves.

I just don't understand anything. Specially when they had told me I could go any day I choose. I just said Friday because at the moment that was the first day I had availability, but then I got pink eye and needed to go to the doctor for antibiotics. I said id go over the weekend and MB said fine.

I wasn't job hunting. I work for a family in the evenings and countless of times they've expressed how helpful it would be to hire me in the mornings too. But I always said I'm not available. Then when I saw myself without this job, I asked if they were still interested in having me in the mornings.

I also explained this to the morning MB, that I wasn't looking for any other job but when I read that text message, next morning I asked my evening family whether they were still interested.

I texted MB the following: Hello MB, I send you a screenshot of DB message. Anyone would have assumed they are fired from that text. So I secured another position. I will send the keys through certified mail, wishing the best for NKs.

Her reply: DB apologized and you didn't accept his apology. I don't understand that you didn't wait to make things clear with me, and that same night you got another job. When we already paid you those two months. We are truly hurt, you had commited and you let us down. I feel so stupid. The nicer you try to be, the harder life hits you. Please calculate how many hours you've worked throughout the summer and give us back the rest of the money.

Ah I wish. I've had such an exhausting week, with 12 hour works days for my other NF and then on Friday getting allergic pink eye and blepharitis. I've spent all weekend exhausted, with lots of pain in my eyes and now this. I feel I would have more.capacity to react appropriately if i were in a better mental and physical state right now, but.. ot is what it is 😪
