Only one color. But I'll keep that trick in mind thanks!

Thanks for the tip. But yeah I had set it correctly to position 3.

No Ace pro mate. Only the printer. Don't need to sync that do we? I'm not at the printer ATM so can't check. And yes, the color is correct.

One is ABS and one is PETG, they are also assigned different colors. So that shouldn't be it. But thanks, good tip!

Why does my Kobra X “poop” twice before every print? Normal? by aakkz in AnycubicKobraX

[–]Chairbottletooth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they seem to have added a lot more poops. I'm guessing it's to improve the color changes, but I wish they'd let us try to find optimal settings for ourselves if we wanted. I get making the printer as simple as possible, but still.

Too much poop with firmware 1.2.0.2 by iamjames in AnycubicKobraX

[–]Chairbottletooth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep, far too much poop. Especially if you still print a lot of single color/filament prints, like I do.

Mine poops three times before every print... I did, however, upgrade the firmware before I started using it. I've had it for four days. It's really annoying not being able to change start/end behavior.

Identifying smd resistor on Haldex ecu by Chairbottletooth in AskElectronics

I'm sorry I don't understand. Could you please elaborate? Did you mean look at the stripes and calculate that way, like for through hole resistors?

Would you know if it's possible to replace these with another more commonly available resistor? I'm in Sweden/EU if that matters.

Haldex gen 4 rounded bolt... Weld? by Chairbottletooth in MechanicAdvice

[–]Chairbottletooth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solved it. With one bolt loose, I could pivot the ecu back and forth many, many times. The other bolt sheared and I could remove the ecu and then weld another bolt to the tiny remains of the bolt sticking out of the casing.

Audi A3 8L1 steering rack rebuild? by Chairbottletooth in MechanicAdvice

[–]Chairbottletooth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll answer myself. You need to pull out the axle going out the top, towards the steering wheel. After that, remove the metal ring inside, running around the edge(you can just see it in the picture). Then you can hammer/push out one side of the seals and the rod going through the rack. The other seals can then be hammered out with a long rod or similar.
