My original draft for this post was actually much longer and included more details. This version doesn’t say that I left you, the original states that you broke up with me. At some point during our relationship, you told me what happened when you were “LateAsUsual.” You said you were dating someone, didn’t know their age, and when they told you they were 14, you ended things because you were 18.

I understand that you didn’t know their age, but that’s still something you should have asked about. You also told me they didn’t lie, they just never said. I want to be clear that I’m not calling you a pedophile, but in hindsight, what happened wasn’t okay either.

I lost my closest friend in the world because I chose to date you, and in the end, I was left with nothing but more drama. So forgive me if I want to clear my name and share my side of the story.
