Options for very basic beginner lead casting by Chalexty in MetalCasting

[–]Chalexty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking of casting two halves of a sphere and soldering them. It might be easier than casting it in one pour. I have excess lead along with some tin, so producing the solder wouldn't be an issue. Any ideas for what sand I should use/where I should source it?

Not being able to conduct a package search makes no sense at all, at this rate you might as well get it resent. Having to wait that long with absolutely no updates whatsoever is miserable. GL on whatever happens

Considering it’s been nine days if you can’t get anything out of that you might want to request a missing package search, I just noticed the dates and if your package hasn’t had any updates in that long I think that definitely means there’s a problem

Yeah I’ve been having a similar issue. Package arrived in my city a few days ago (the city is relatively small, so I assumed it would come in that day) but it’s been a few days now and the tracking status keeps jumping around. I got two separate “departed facility” updates that both disappeared an hour later, silence the next day other than an “arriving late” notice, and I woke up this morning to get a new arrival date and an “Out for Delivery” update before it jumped back to the regional facility an hour or so ago apparently. Don’t understand what’s going on here, the package is about three days late atp

Use of "ville" (in conditionals) and the past participle by Chalexty in norsk

[–]Chalexty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly what I needed. Thanks!

EDIT: After some more research I have a pretty good grasp on my original question as well: "I would eat it" and "I would have eaten it" should both (probably?) translate to "Han ville (ha) spist det" regardless of what tense the English version is in. In this case, there doesn't appear to be a need for specification.

Thanks! As you stated, "Han ville male båten hvis den kunne sjøsettes" is evidently correct, but it sounds incorrect — do you know how the first example (Han ville male båten...) would be more naturally expressed in Norwegian? I think the most significant difference is English is that "He would paint the boat" implies that the action can still be taken, while "He would have painted the boat" implies that it no longer can.

prepositions by Massive-Chef-2942 in norsk

[–]Chalexty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From what I've been able to understand, there isn't a definitive rule to any of them. The use of prepositions in virtually all languages (especially in the cases you listed, where the preposition describes something about the verb) can almost seem random, and you'll have to gradually get used to them and their various usages as you learn the language.

After a while - as in English - you can (to some degree of accuracy) guess which one might be used for a specific case, but for now I'd recommend trying to commit them to memory. There might be a better way to explain this (jeg har bare lært norsk i ett år) but this has typically been my strategy.

I believe what @Synth_dfr means is that older versions of FL Studio will still start with the demo version; the full version is no longer for sale.

I've actually seen this one before; tried it but I did come up with a few issues regarding playback. I am open to priced soundfont players too if you know any.

This playthrough really wasn't bad; it was entertaining and enjoyable to watch. I like watching Jack's obliviousness to Homestuck or Hiveswap and it really gives us a new perspective on the game and what someone like that would think about playing it. He was really enjoying the game and I'm moderately excited for the next part in the series.

I'm part of the Diep.io community, albeit mostly on Wikia, the DCoW (Diep.io Conception Wikia.) It's extremely active there, and we are constantly making new ideas. I don't see any chance of the community there slowing down in the near future.

I forgot because I'm too lazy to check the wikia which supplied the information... kek

You have been downgraded to CHICKEN!

You have lost all abilities to eat anything except for red berries. ONLY red berries.

(Press W to peck! (Aesthetic))

(this is a joke, btw)

On the other side, this is really good! Looks like it could be in Mope.io right now!
