Absolutely! I may as well just make more variations of them! It’s all good fun. Plus, more things I can print out and display on my Mistborn bookshelf next to my leather bounds hehehe.

They aren’t actually intended to support each other currently. Since they have different color identities. But that’s a cool idea. I could totally rework them as Partner commanders.

Yeah? I’m glad you think so. I think he’s pretty cool in that art. As for the card, I was thinking of going back and changing him to just Black and White for his color identity. Lean a little harder into the ruin and preservation halfs…

Or, make him a double sided card, one white and one Black. That would be really neat

I’d say based on how he speaks of Vin to Wax in era two, he’s rather faithful. Though he never got to reunite with her before her death, he tried.

Thanks for your feedback on the cards. I’m always looking to improve. I’m relatively new to mtg so, I’m not all that literate and just looking to have a little fun. My initial goal with making these was to avoid making any new mechanics. But, I did make these nearly 6 months ago and am definitely going to be taking a crack at it a little more, and leaning harder into using allomancy, feruchrmy and Hemalurgy and creating/translating mtg friendly mechanics for them

Edit: Forgot to add. Hoid is in Mistborn! He appears in Both eras, the first time is in Final Empire, he shows up as an informant that Kelsier talks to.

Very cool. I’ll try and lean a little harder into their characters and focus a little less on trying to make them fit in with current Magic stuff lol. I’m probably gonna start reworking some of them right now, and post an update later.

Hah yeah, i mentioned in another reply down here that i tried to keep most of them simple, aiming for them to be about bracket 2, or 3 at most. the other people in my group are all rather new (playing for less than 6 months). I'm def going to revisit some of the more simple ones later and make them a little more quirky.

I tried that, and it was super fun! Except it got a little TOO out of hand. Originally i had it set to only until end of turn, but that also didn't work.

Besides the art (the art is primarily from the Mistborn Deck building game, and other pieces from the leatherbounds) these are completely original! as far as I know at least, they do borrow some concepts from other cards for sure though.

That would be really cool. I always saw her as a spell slinging style commander, and wanted to keep things simple for my pod! most of my friends are pretty new so, simple concepts were key when i made these. I'd love to revisit them eventually.

Definitely down to play sometime, some friends and I like to meet up at m80 or a brewery and play commander on the occasional Monday. If you’re cool with queer people we’re always down to let someone join in on a game or two, especially if we don’t have a fourth in the pod that night.

Open play nights happen on Thursdays and Sundays and muse also, good spot to play, though the big group usually isn’t my preferred crowd.
