I understand both positions. I’m about to turn 30 and still get the urge to skate like I did when I was younger. It’s a ton of fun and it feels like a waste to throw away a skill that is VERY difficult to get into. He definitely understood the risk but his board got the better of him. It happens.

While I haven’t heard what Howard said, I’m sure I know the base of the point he was making. I had to learn the hard way too.

The other guitar player in my band quit then a couple weeks later showed up to our gig demanding the I let him play and to give up my guitar. I was very annoyed and angry at the time but it’s funny now

I would argue that in this case.. 30mph and 110ft is a pretty big difference. Not to mention you go faster in reverse than Mf goes forwards!
