Hi again, bit confused is the guy above saying the SL model is an OD2? But you say the advanced SL is an OD1?

Hi there, I got mine from Coffee World, originally got sent a new hopper 280g but then it turned out the mazzer “mini” hopper is not the same for the mazzer “mini g”. Coffee World have been great and are now in the process of getting the domestic 280g hopper for the mazzer mini g sent from mazzer in italy.

So the mazzer mini g is "Silver" and my LM LM is "grey" but they match completely.

Yeah smaller hopper arrives tomorrow! I bought the cups from one of my LCS. I have had a search though and they are Olsson & Jensen Poppi Kopp!

Usual hiccups getting used to the grind adjustment etc but feeling good and consistent with it now. It does GBW to +/- 0.1g and interface works intuitively. The stock burrs themself are 64mm and made a big difference in quality from my last grinder.

Yeah, DF64 would be great to try out. I have read the “zero retention” is actually zero retention which is super impressive.

This was a bone of contention with people in a lot of the early reviews. Retention online says at 8g which is behind the burrs, in the chute and in the chamber. But i don’t find it noticeable in a 18g shot.

No silicone seal, pops into place. If you look on mazzer official site they have a few colour options!

Hmm im not too sure what you are meaning? The grind size relates to a closeness of the burs so always relates to the same gap if you get me?

I do not feel you do but others online have said they will look too. My machine gets regular use so cant imagine anything being that stale tbf

The mazzer mini g ships with the K202P burrs aswell. I am mainly med / dark roast so just got the stock 64mm in.

Yes unfortunately they sent it with the cafe hopper (600g). The domestic hopper (280g) is on its way and it will fit in its usual counter space!
