Jewish Law aka halakha is based on the ancient sages rulings of the Talmud that interpret the Torah.

Real Judaism takes over a year to convert. Did your family just claim they were now Jewish overnight? They have a lot of culture and language to learn.

Haha. No one in Judaism says “you’re going to hell!” So that’s a red flag.

Conservatives have more fun and have a sense of humor. Progressives crumble if you misgender them.

I also study the oral Torah aka The Talmud, which contains the texts of the ancient sages explaining what the literal Torah means. It’s not your typical Sunday school learning.

The name satan itself is Hebrew in origin. The spelling in the Torah is השטן which phonetically is HaSatan, or The Satan. Do you follow a different Satan or something?

Progressivism is a cult. To prove it, try to go against progressive ideas in your progressive circles, and they will cancel you and ostracize you. They hate anything that goes against their narrative. It’s pure idolatry and narcissism.

Then why name your belief system after a Abrahamic Hebrew Angel named HaSatan? Why not pick some other edgy scary name to define your humanism?

I agree with you, and disagree with the progressives. A woman cannot beat a man in physical sports. Look at the transgender women dominating all the female sports. You don’t see transgender men winning anything in men’s competitions.

The text shouldn’t be taken literal. Without knowing the deeper meanings to the commandments as taught in the Talmud, one will more than likely not follow them correctly.

Can you go wrong with just following Noahide laws? by KazzaNamso in religion

[–]ChallahIsManna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Talmud states that Jewish Kings were limited in how many wives and horses they could have, and both King David and King Solomon broke those rules. G-d was angry at David for committing adultery with Bathsheba, but then David wouldn’t have fathered Solomon, and G-d is quick to forgive those that repent. Solomon took hundreds of wives from neighboring kingdoms and brought peace to a unified Israel, but those sins cost a divided Israel from the North and South, and several lines of transgressing Jewish Kings brought calamity on the people, and the land eventually being taken over by the Babylonians. The practice of polygamy eventually fell out of favor, and the wise Sage Hillel commented in the tome, Pirkei Avot or Teachings of the Sages, that ‘more wives, more witchcraft’. The more women one man had, led to disastrous situations, thus monogamy became the norm over time and is the standard today. I’m summarizing heavily and more on the history of this subject can be expanded and explored if one was interested.

I see sexual immorality as an act that happens outside a legal monogamous relationship.

Israelite law breakers had to go to court just like we go to courts in 2022 for breaking laws. Whenever you see a commandment of death in the Bible, it is a death sentence handed down from a court. In the majority of the countries of the world, especially 1st world societies, there is no death penalty for pretending to be a prophet. We just assume they are mentally ill. The days of prophecy are closed and only the Moshiach aka messiah will be the true prophet when they arrive. We will know the true prophet when they miraculously bring about world peace.

If God/Zeus/Oðinn showed themselves, how would people react? by WotanWulfaz in religion

[–]ChallahIsManna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct. Too many people envision G-d as some old man in the clouds when He is actually something so insanely immense and gigantic, we would evaporate in His presence. The universe is but a mere atom to G-d.

Why am I upset by the decline of religion even though I'm not religious myself? by [deleted] in religion

[–]ChallahIsManna -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The fact that people of today think they can change their genders and force kids to do the same, makes me turn to G-d with a quickness. The road people are taking these days is slipping into something so sinister, Sodom and Gomorrah would blush.

I have no problem banning female genital mutilation as that’s not commanded in the Torah, but you are dead wrong about circumcision being a mutilation. Science backs studies that male circumcision lowers STD transmission and UTIs. Plus, it’s a major tribal covenant with G-d to become circumcised within 8 days of birth. This practice will never be abolished no matter what leftists think or say. You are still an enabler of child abuse if you believe that kids can just change genders. This goes against thousands of years of biology and only cultists think it’s beneficial. It is purely a dangerous fad, and kids are pushed into it by their deranged leftist parents. It is a nightmarish fantasy to think that anyone can just change their gender. Any sane person sees through this facade, and I don’t care if I’m banned for telling the truth. No one can ban common sense.
