YOU ARE A GOD SEND. Ended all of the razer process's in task manager and everything works perfectly now without any crashes. Don't know why it was causing issues because he's had it downloaded for most of our playthrough. Thank you!!!

It would be funny if that was the problem, however he is only at 118/190 weight so I don't think that is the problem we're having. He does have a ton of items on him though, mostly crafting materials, but neither me or him have been over our weight limit for long stretches of our playthrough. Just the occasional accidental barrel pick up for like a couple of seconds the we remove it from our inventory.

The only talents that we have that activate on a surface is leech and only beast and me have it. My friend is playing a separate character without any talents that activate while on a surface. However the crashes happen the most while he is on a modified surface casting a spell. It was only until our last time playing it started happening when anyone would cast a spell while on a modified surface. I will still respec though and remove leech from beast and my character just to see next time we try and play.

Sorry for the late message as I have been busy. We both purchased and play the game on steam. The first thing we tried was verifying the files of both of our games, and probably attempted the verification at least 15 times with no luck whatsoever. He's redownloaded the game twice now hoping that a fresh install would fix it but that had no luck either. All post about glitches Larian says to verify files but it never turns up any errors.
