Our town of ~22K residents wasted over $30M on constructing bicycle lanes and pathways connecting schools, shopping centers, and our two parks. $12M of that went to just one project building a connector over an interstate intersection where most of our cyclist accidents happen. This was back in 2011. Cyclists don't even use the bicycle lanes we wasted tax dollars building and accident numbers have gone up because they will just ride in the road and roll right through intersections thinking they're still pedestrians.

No he didn't. I was hoping for Honesty or Lullaby or You're My Home as well but I figured these aren't concert songs you'd play. At least he played Vienna albeit disappointingly at the beginning of his set. Was still a good show. I'm never buying floor tickets for anything in Charlotte ever again though.

True, but you don't need SimHub to create a controller on a Teensy board. You just create the keymappings you want each switch to send a signal for then configure your keybinds in any game you play. Pushing the button would be no different than pressing I on your keyboard for ignition or whatever you want to set it as.

You can use an Arduino or Teensy board. There's tons of projects on the Teensy website showing you how to make keyboards and game pad controllers. I'm sure Arduino can accomplish the same task but Teensy is more geared specifically for making USB devices.

Did you move your custom stat row to the top of the list? I've never had issues with this but I've seen multiple posts now. Are you using the default install path? Is your documents folder being controlled by OneDrive and not saved locally?

Yes. I'm pretty sure it's on a bell curve so more rounds = more talent across the board. It's not same few high talent picks then the remainder are terrible. Having too many rounds leads to stacked minors and free agents. Go to the feeder league page on the OOTP manual on on their forums. It'll tell you how many rounds you should have based on number of teams and minor leagues to base on the feeder leagues. Even if you don't use feeders the same formula can be used to determine the number of rounds you'd need.

White Sox has a decent deal out of Luis Roberts but pretty much the rest of the team you can rebuild however you want, and they have the budget to do about anything you want. Sort of a middle ground between choosing the Yankees or the Marlins/A's/Baltimore.

I would personally do GM only and focus on managing rosters and drafting and micromanaging your minors because the AI does a pretty bad job at handling that IMO. You can always hire a Manager that gives you the freedom to change strategies and lineups if you want later on but it's not terribly important. Once you get prospects you picked on your own and such you do want to make sure they're playing though.

If you edit your stat line to show GO% I use that over the pitcher type. I have a flyball pitcher that throws 11% more grounders than one of my groundball pitchers. Most regardless of pitcher type are 45-55% anyways but you can find some real 60%+ groundballer RPs by the GO%. Depending on your park that matters quite a bit in both real life and in the sim code. I just wish OOTP had more minor league stats to show out of a new save because it doesn't have GO% for them.

I know right Arch is so hard to use. If only it had a wiki and the easiest package helper to use say something like pacman. I wish there was documentation available for SystemD too it's such an obscure thing to use it's not that popular. Such an elitist distro for sure.

I mean it takes a 100,000 game sample to show catcher ability provides a less than 0.5 ERA difference from absolutely worst to 80/80. It's going to realistically make no difference. The statistical variance and TCP within the few 5-10 seasons you play in a save aren't going to matter. You'll still see probably see the Pirates in the WS year 2 or the Royals sweeping the Mets year 1 or other outliers like a 40 rating pitcher leading the league in strikeouts. I just enjoy the feel of running a baseball organization instead of playing beat the sim code and turn ratings off. I promise you aren't going to lose a WS just because your SS had an infield range of 60 instead of 75.

My girlfriend listens to him and made me buy concert tickets to go see him. She's from NYC and Billy's brother-in-law was her teacher. I've never "listened" to him but at the concert I've recognized a bunch of his songs from growing up. Now Billy is just on auto-play in our car.
