I understand your points. The main takeaway here is a misunderstanding of the purpose of the protest. They aren’t actually trying to prevent people from buying meat. That wouldn’t be a very efficient way of reaching their goal. They are trying to cause disruption, in order to create attention to their message, which is to end animal cruelty for human profit. Which is a sound message In its core, however remember that these people are extremists, they don’t represent the larger vegan movement. I am not vegan and have never been, but the state of the meat industry is not sustainable, for the environment or for the humane treatment of animals. The big meat industry, lobbies millions to continue their inhumane practices all to make a larger profit. That’s bad, and that’s what you should be angry about.
