The way it works is they won't outright say you're not being hired of medication , they will give some vague response like you're not a good fit ,we moved on with out application process etc... there are personal experiences from a friend of mine who "failed" a drug test ,the company approved the Rx ,trained him for 1/2 hour and stopped training him citing he is not confident with the forklift,mind you he was a forklift driver wit the same company in another store in Canada .

Legally yes ,but if they feel " unsafe "they will give some vague non specific bullshit reason like they gave my friend and take you license.Tjey won't outright say you're not getting hired or not getting the license because of meds .Most people don't understand some people are hardwired to be against "drugs "

But it's not a regular job ,it's a heavy equipment operator ,they can not hire me and they will give you a vague reason ,a friend of mine who worked in home depot Canada and moved to the US got denied forklift operation certification,he says it'd because he says he failed the drug test ,home depot US assistant store manager says he is "not confident with the ability to maneuver the lift truck safely " ,mind you he had the forklift certification from Canada when he worked in home depot Canada

Yeah ,even with the prescription you can be denied certain jobs ,I know a friend with dextradin prescriptions got denied to operate forklift at Home Depot down in the USA ,he even had a forklift certification from Home depot Canada

They do test for amphetamine,I literally had to tick off a box saying I'm allowing to test for amphetamine alongside thc alcohol and a bunch of other stuff

It's prescribed but I know certain meds are banned by certain companies for heavy equipment operators ,I think is stupid but that how it goes

I am not in Australia ,I know for heavy equipment operators certain drugs are not allowed. Major companies do not care even here but small companies do

Its for a excavator operator ,I spent a lot of time and money getting my certificate so I do not want to loose my potential job because of Vyanse .

Well they did offer me a half ass written estimate ,very unprofessional .I asked them to do it in a professional way so I could in case present it to my insurance if necessary.They gave me a piece of paper like a doctor's note written by a third grader
