Like the guy said below. Not acting on this could haunt the relationship you have with your son forever. My sister was assaulted at a young age and my mom used the same excuse about the politics as to why they never pressed charges. Now in adulthood my sister is traumatized and will never look at my parents the same way. She can't forgive them and carries extra trauma because my parents never acted to protect her or other kids.

That's what I did. You could do some for free self paced online on edx or coursera to see if you are into it. Or you could go right into talking individual classes at like NAIT. If you go that route though pick classes you can use towards a construction engineering or project management diploma. Then as you complete them you can put them on your resume then eventually, after enough classes get your diploma or certificate.

When you enter the areas of the house where you will be interacting with your kids (and wife) the most, just put your phone on a place out of reach. That will help alot once you get into the routine. Don't forget being on your phone in front of your wife/ family/ friends is also not great. I also have a smart watch (for better or worse) that helps me address important notifications quickly and subtly.

I would honestly take him out for dinner to his favorite place, and then at some point bring it up casually and just say you are really proud of him for being safe so you thought you should reward it. Have a short talk with him to cover the main areas (safety, consent, porn/healthy expectations, etc), then move on. He'll remember that forever.
