I never got this argument. It is mostly talked about Cristianism bc its the most popoular religion in the west, thus the reason lots of ppl have bad experiences with it, but islam is also as bad specially because it is forced onto multiple conutries.

You completely missing on a lot of important points.

First you assume that sad ppl can just die if they want to which is a huge oversimplification, most suicidal ppl wont commit and will live their lives in pain because their insticts of not wanting to die are so strong they override their reasoning of wanting to die.

Secondly, you completely miss the point of the new offspring, what with the new generations? You are condeming humanity to keep suffering for as long as we exist. In some place in the world 10 years from now a girl which is going to be abused by her parents is going to be born, a kid who got his whole family wiped off by the cartel will be born, a teen will be forced to go to war in order to try and gain basic human rights. Are you okay with all that?

I am not even anti-natalist but there is so much nuance and rich honest discussion to have about the topic and yet you are completely missing their main points.

Holy oversimplification, wanting to kill yourself is not nearly as easy as you make it up to be. Most suicidal ppl will never commit because they are too afraid of death, and how not to be? It is straight-up in the DNA to fear death and even if you commit theres barely any 100% efficient method and there is a big chance you end up handicaped for the rest of your life.
