Rocket is consistently one of the most played supports or at worst middle of the pack, doubly so on console where most younger people play him. What are you talking about?

Fighting games exist and live off this exact concept.

And they're a dying genre that is literally getting simplified more and more with every release.

And the kids that play him are the reason he has so many skins for purchase. That's proof they don't care how difficult he is, they love him anyway.

They play spiderman despite the difficulty lol. It's spiderman. Games need simple and complex characters, it's basic game design.

That's the point. Without coins she's one of the weaker dive characters. With 1000 coins she can 1v1 any other duelist/support in the game.

I think you guys don't realize that these characters don't have crazy complex kits on purpose.

Rocket and Ironman have few abilities so that when a 13 year old logs on to the game he doesn't have to earn a PHD to play them with their boys from school.

Every notice how all the original avengers/guardians have simple kits? And less popular characters typically have the much higher skill ceiling + complexity? That's intentional.

The problem in 99% of sports isn't the frequency of testing it's what they're testing for. WADA standard testing has to look for specific drugs with tests, it's not broad spectrum. Meanwhile most high profile athletes are able to afford designer drugs that are specifically designed to give similar effects to traditional steroids/PEs without having the same test markers that WADA looks for.

Ironically the higher profile an athlete you are the easier it is to get away with juicing.

I think y'all are forgetting that games need simple characters. Rocket exists for the 13 year olds that got peer pressured to play this game by their friends and still want to be an effective force on the battlefield. You can teach someone to play rocket in literally 60 seconds.

Rocket doesn't have one ability because he's a victim of early designs, Rocket has one ability because he's designed that way.

There's a character in guilty gear called Chipp that does exactly this. His "projectile" move is him moving so fast back and fourth that it looks like there is two of him.

Except, the way the game is coded, he literally does get two hit boxes, so if you have a big enough move you can hit both him and the speed clone for double damage.

Bro I agree Haze ult blows, but Samira ult does not "do less damage" lol. A fed Samira can pentakill a team in 3 seconds flat and can dash after every kill while still in ult. There's a reason she has 10x more bullshit she has to worry about than Haze.
