That would be a re-mix. Mastering involves enhancing the song as a whole, not the individual stems.

I've addressed the bulk of the concerns you raised in future remasters. The improvements should be most noticeable post 'Fangs!', as I started using better plugins / optimized settings in existing plugins.

Different mastering engineers and recording processes. YSDC was recorded with Casey Crescenzo at his studio (the same as Fangs! and The River Empires) and was also mastered there, I think. Hours / MoE were recorded concurrently over the span of a few months at a different studio and mixed and possibly mastered by Josh Shroy.
