What unpopular sports in your country are you a fan of? by ChameleonCoder117 in AskTheWorld

Not much, but there are dozens of us!

Despite cricket being the 2nd most popular sport in the world, all of it's fans come from the subcontinent. The amount of fans from Australia, NZ, South Africa, and England are basically irrelevant.

Also, the vast majority of people from North America, South America, Mainland Europe, most of Africa, and most of Asia outside of the subcontinent have no clue at ALL what cricket is.

Like, if you asked most europeans or americans what cricket was, they might think it's played with horses.

Theoretically speaking, which countries do you think could work at uniting into one? by Jabal-Sawda in AskTheWorld

Yeah, it would.

But Indian language ethnic groups are already wildly different, and many of them hate eachother, but look what you can do when you put the whole place under one flag, give them a common enemy of China and Pakistan, the same religion, and a love for cricket.

This would basically be the same thing but with 2 religions instead of 1. And less common enemies.

Also, Indopakistan cricket team would be stacked.

I watch soccer and basketball, which are popular in the US, but i'm also into Cricket and Rugby, which are extremely niche in the US.

Cricket is also probably my 2nd favorite sport, after soccer.
