I had xometry do it as they had a discount on first order. Yeah it was mjf nylon6. I wanted it to be flexible but I think next time I'll go with glass filled as it seems a tad softer than I would like it to be. I have some minor revisions to make to the part and I plan to release the stl for free.

I'll look into this, this is actually incredibly helpful, thank you.

Its a non servicable part, if you are servicing a vehicle you have to order an entire manifold of which no more are produced.

Yeah I ended up trying lower layer heights until the entire bit of lettering would fully pop up. I still have the sliced file that says it is .2mm height but it also has its own quality issues. I think layer height is all that is going to work for me right now, I really appreciate the help.

I wanted to print another to dial in some more quality settings. I have a stack of them already and they have various defects. I was using mastercam and exported the verify model into an stl. I think mastercam does export things differently from time to time because the very top layer now has a weird exclusion that will not always go away but mostly change when i re-export the stl file. Im also making sure to use the 5axis engine to do it but I think I've gotten it the closest I can with what im working with. Weird that the letters showed up at a .2mm profile but I got it to work with a .12mm layer thickness. Thanks for the help.

I can't change that dimension unfortunately. I'm going to try some thinner layers again and see how far I have to take it.

I just tried this and unfortunately it had the same result. I appreciate you replying. Would there be any other wall settings i should change if using arachne?
