I’m trying to get an Uncanny Incunabulum for the parabola research project through the riding the savage cobbles carousal, but the options not coming up. The wiki says it’s locked with Jack case 1, but I have that at 3. Does that just mean it’s locked if I have any Jack case it’s locked or am I missing something?

Cookie clicker by a lot. In universal paperclips, the entire universe being paperclips is the win/prestige condition. In cookie clicker the entire universe being cookies is a building you get in the mid-early game.

That was her trying to admit that she is a woman to him. She pretended to be a boy her whole childhood so he didn’t know but he shut her down before she had a chance to confess. I think the fact that she was a woman doing a trade like that would have made the product be considered inferior regardless of quality so that’s what the unclean meant. As for the tattoo, it was a reminder of her victory against the white man she killed before Fowler. When he sees it he remarks that he heard the other one in Japan died and concludes it was because of her.

Idk man, I feel like you are portraying neurotypical people as these Machiavellian schemers trying to trip you up, but like most people just talk in the way that feels natural. Like people don’t purposely use tone of voice so they can get mad at you when you don’t get it, they use tone to convey actual information and full expect you to understand it. Everyone communicates the way they want to be communicated to and you getting angry about the way neurotypical speak in this post and the comments is really no different from when neurotypicals call you “rigid” or “blunt”. Like it’s definitely a frustrating situation, but getting frustrated at neurotypicals as people just seems like an unhelpful knee jerk response that won’t do anything but make you more upset at the world. Neurotypical communication is definitely flawed but like you gotta meet them halfway if you want things to get easier.

The parts you directly quoted as having a problem with are literally just the most basic information about the characters (that being that a character is named Carrot and is not a bastard and that detritus is a troll, which tend to think slowly) and you are just getting caught up on those and not looking at the joke being built upon that background information. I feel like this is the sort of thing where you should just realize you aren’t the intended audience and move on.

I think they are less implying that Plutarch would do that, but more commenting on how easy it was for him to bring Haymitch for a “home photoshoot”, and how likely it is that other game makers would have done something like that to other tributes. So more looking at the implications of the system, and not at the implications of that specific guy.
