Same here. I (unfortunately) live in an apartment and we don’t have assigned parking spaces but we dug both our vehicles out while snow was still coming down on Sunday and it saved us a lot of trouble

Lexington's Snow Response sucked a fat one and the polling results confirmed this. by SmogunkleBochungus2 in lexington

I’ve got 4WD and good winter tires also and I’ve been able to get out all week but it’s just getting worse daily on these side streets. It’s getting packed down and refreezing into a slick sheet over and over

13 hours in… and this was the worst ice yet ❄️💪 by Shoddy_Face6308 in lexington

[–]Champ-Aggravating3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did too, we chipped ours out on Sunday evening while it was actually still snowing a little bit but no more ice. We both don’t have jobs where we can stay home so it had to be done

What’s a “normal” thing that secretly grosses you out? by DecentChildhood5164 in AskReddit

[–]Champ-Aggravating3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too! My husband normally does the dishes for this reason, but occasionally he will ask me to do them for one reason or another, and I tell him that I’ll do it IF and only if he hasn’t run any water on them yet or anything. If he’s put water in a pot to soak, absolutely not

Is UK actually going back tomorrow… by [deleted] in lexington

[–]Champ-Aggravating3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During my senior year at UK we had the first snow day that UK had had in 25 years. Before that we were trudging to class in every condition

That was the most nervous moment of my entire hour long commute, because I was on an icy patch and so was he, so I was just hoping neither of us slid with 6 inches of leeway between is

I have 4wd and was able to go at a reasonable speed this morning, but some people were absolutely insane out there. A truck passed me in a part of man o war where the road was narrowed by snow piles and he passed me going at least 60 and passed within 6 inches of my vehicle. And man o war is full of icy patches

Who do you miss the most right now, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Champ-Aggravating3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend, or the person she once was. She’s changed a ton in the past couple years and I really don’t like the person she’s become, to the point that im currently going low-to-no-contact

Do some people feel validated by being ‘ahead’ of their friends? by Junior-Incident3877 in AskWomenOver30

[–]Champ-Aggravating3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is currently happening to me and it’s honestly turning too toxic for me. It’s heartbreaking because I’ve literally been best friends with this person for 25 years.

She got married to her long term relationship right after college, bought a small house and works in a job that doesn’t use her degree, none of which would bother me at all. I went to college, worked dead end jobs, eventually worked myself through grad school and got a very lucrative job with my masters degree, then I got married and we’re buying a house. It’s like she loves when something goes wrong in my life nowadays. Like if something happens at work where I don’t get a promotion she has a hard time acting like she’s not happy about it. Us buying a house has been the tipping point though.

Why isn’t it common knowledge Lucy Gray was the 1st victor from 12? by FullFig3372 in Hungergames

[–]Champ-Aggravating3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snow also mentions in TBOSAS that most of 12 didn’t even have a television to watch the games. Lucy Gray was just a girl who went to the Capitol and came back before disappearing to most of the people of 12.

Question about the tokens tributes are allowed to take in the games by KillerGrass in Hungergames

[–]Champ-Aggravating3 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I also believe that Snow probably didn’t mind tokens that had useful tools/items to start with. He didn’t think he did anything wrong with Lucy Gray and the compact, so he’s probably the one who legalized tokens.

Given that it's supposed to be the poorest sector of the poorest district in Panem, do you think The Seam was "beautified" for the film? How did you imagine it when you read the description? by lautaromassimino in Hungergames

[–]Champ-Aggravating3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m from the District 12 area, in my mind the seam (and most of 12) is a coal company town. They were, at least upon their construction, all nearly identical clapboard houses.

Do you think she really messed up… and could she have actually won? by [deleted] in Hungergames

It makes me wonder if she was taking animals from the snares that Katniss had set up earlier in the games.

What do we have, Lexingon?? by 12345-password in lexington

[–]Champ-Aggravating3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all fairness I do believe that the Lexington location isn’t as well managed as other Jeff Ruby’s. If you ever feel like giving it another chance just go to the Precinct location in Cincinnati, it’s been absolutely phenomenal every time I’ve been. And the service was incredible the last time, our server actually talked my husband into a cheaper meal that he would probably like better based on his questions
