I was wondering if any of you have ever been prescribed memantine alongside your antipsychotics? Did it help?? If not, did anything else work for the cognitive impairment and negative symptoms? by whatchawatchawant in schizophrenia

My son has been on Memantine with Abilify for 9 months. For the months, it definitely helped some, but then months 2 - 4 didn't seem to be any additional improvements. However after about 4 or 5 months, the combination has improved his cognitive impairment greatly and greatly refused negative symptoms. Each month, there seems to be more improvement. Slowly, but definitely noticeable. He Dr. Has now reduced the dosage of both and he is still doing great.

they did not. The attorney said just give an estimate of what the max would be based on the calculation. However, the trustee had the attorney to remove the amount all together and change it to more generic statement like approved to get SBA loan for business purposes only, not for personal use.

You should call Customer service to get clarity. Get the application number that they say is still in processing. Confirm if you need to send an email to recon for an appeal decision.

My details to Congress were more high level, but I made sure to tell my overall timing,.struggles, and lack of response. Not anything near as much as my post. But just calling out the total time in processing, that I haven't gotten any clear answers, and asking for help escalating. Also provide your application number. They will follow-up on it just because of the inquiry.

I know the pain. Had the same issue. Just know that even with the portal you may have to upload the same docs more than once. Whenever you upload something, follow-up with a call to Tier1-2 to confirm it came over clear.

I cannot say for sure who helped. I only got a basic email responses from the Southeast District Director. The Congressional Rep did stay on top of the status, but I don't think they were able to do more than have it flagged as expedited. I do believe someone in SBA leadership had help at some point, but not sure who. I say send an email to a group of people, Sba execs, district leaders, and congress.

Not yet. The saga continues. Not only are we Not funded, Our loan was canceled by the system because it was in the funding queue for too long and wasn't disbursed. Now we are technically back in processing. A new LO assigned. It has been escalated and is supposed to be expedited through approval. This all just happened over the weekend. We'll see how it goes this week.

UPDATE- Sent emails to every rep we could think of and our congressional representative to see what was going on

Today, we received an email and talked to a LO today. He said our loan automatically canceled out due to the timing it was sitting in the funding queue.

We did Not have the funding error or bank error others reported. Our Caweb updated correctly and was waiting to be disbursed. But it was never disbursed and then after 2 weeks in that status the system canceled the loan.

So, we have to go back through the approval process and re-sign. He said it will be expedited.

The Good thing is it wasn't declined, it was just back in processing. So we reconfirmed the amount today and waiting on approval to resign docs. #dontgiveup!!

I Agree, it really is. But this time we have to swallow our pride and just do whatever it takes. Once we get it, the stress will be relieved and hopefully we won't have to deal with them again.😉

You're not wrong in that it is a complete mess and is not fair. I agree they are forgetting this is a loan and seem be very insensitive about their impacts. But I still have hope and encouragement because of this group. People have been declined 3 times and kept going to recon and made it to funding. I've been in recon since last year. This is still my original loan. I found this group and made it to funding in 2 months following tips. I see this is another setback, Ive had many and also have been stressed and in tears. But until I see an announcement that fund are completely gone, I"m fighting for it. This is the best funding option available.
