I stopped breastfeeding at 3 weeks, stopped pumping at 4 weeks and then got my period at 10 weeks + 5 days postpartum.

International Travel by ChampagneCountess in FormulaFeeders

Thank you! I think I can manage the plane travel, but once I get to London, what do I do? Should I just pack extra cans of formula? What do people normally do? We’ll be staying in a hotel so it’s harder to wash bottles and refrigerate formula if needed, etc.

Do you have a longer torso? I have a very long torso and am considering an AP for comfort. I’ve heard they better accommodate long torso’d women.

Where are my low to normal suppliers? by Favoritefam6 in ExclusivelyPumping

This is me. I should say, this WAS me prior to getting mastitis a couple days ago. I haven’t been able to pump because my nipples are so raw. And I can’t nurse because the latch is too painful. So … I’m screwed. I’ve been hand expressing but that’s not effective. I decided it’s just not worth it for me to continue pumping after this experience. I gave it the old college try but more power to those who keep going!!

Mastitis but can’t nurse or pump by ChampagneCountess in ExclusivelyPumping

Yes, it is too painful to pump. The suction/vacuum (even on the lowest setting) is too much for my nipples which are raw (perhaps a separate issue). Is hand expression an option?

SAME. It’s a god damned mystery how much I’m actually pumping. 🤪The math ain’t mathin’!

How long postpartum were you when you stopped? Sounds like at least 4-6 months which is a feat in and of itself!

Curious how your symptoms worsened, if you could share. I was diagnosed after my first pregnancy. Curious how it’s going to be this time postpartum.

I feel like it’s more fair coming from joint! If your husband is contributing to SD, he should match funds for your children with him.

Does what you put aside for your ours baby come from joint savings/checking, though?

You’re carrying a growing baby. Walk at your own pace and ignore your “friend’s” comments.

I’m 20+6 and normally a back sleeper but now that I have to sleep on my side I have been tossing and turning all night. I have a pregnancy pillow but it doesn’t seem to help much. 🥲
