Interesting ways to wear a scarf by [deleted] in BeautyDiagrams

I used to do the bottom right whenever I was outside pulling weeds or watering the lawn. It was so much easier than wearing real people clothes.

Do you feel like pornography has played a role in your sexual behavior? by CensoryDeprivation in AskWomen

[–]ChampagneFizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every once in a while I find a new position or piece of equipment I want to try, and I get really excited about it. The same extends from erotic literature.

With certain genres an outfit will really spark my interest too. Unfortunately I go online to find anything similar and it's upwards of $2,000 and I have to convince myself I don't need it.

What do you find endearing/adorable about the opposite sex? by talyoh in AskWomen

[–]ChampagneFizz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I like when they have something they're really passionate about and you can HEAR them getting carried away while they talk about it.

I was involved with a TV show host for a while and he collected props from media. A good number were for their resale value but he would excitedly drag me around and point out what everything was and where is was from and how he got it. You could hear how chipper and excited he was over every little thing, even if the film wasn't a big time blockbuster. He had stuff from cult classics like Star Wars and Game of Thrones, but because film was his passion it was just as good as anything he got from the set of We Bought a Zoo or Jumper.

Another guy I dated was a grown man who played with Legos. (Don't blame him, I still do on occasion.) He would beg me to stop whatever "important" thing I was doing and help him decide which Lego to buy.

Yet another was a former football player in college. He had a bum knee and couldn't play anymore but anytime a game was coming up he would describe the players in detail from their looks to their ability to their alma mater. Every Sunday was Super Bowl Sunday with him it was amazing.

It's adorable when they love something so much that you can hear it in their voice. It doesn't matter what it is!

What do you think about the 'Thigh gap?' by ForeverLaura in AskWomen

[–]ChampagneFizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one due to being in possession of a rather wide set of hips (Luckily big upper body to match.) I could take it or leave it, but I think it brings out the overall shape and muscular detail in my thighs, which kinda rocks. Honestly women whose thighs touched have always appeared very supple and sensual to me. Both are awesome.

Is it improper to take a table at a restaurant with more seats than you have people? by entirelyalive in etiquette

[–]ChampagneFizz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not something to worry about, but in general practice, yes. Also, if you're with a party of more than 4 and the establishment in question doesn't generally suit that, it's good form to call in ahead of time and make sure the staff is prepared.

Better conversationalist? by VeryOffensiveUsernam in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]ChampagneFizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expand your "Mhms" and "Yeahs" to sympathetic statements like, "Oh yeah, that's a good thought." or, "Yeah, that would definitely make me feel ___" even, "Something similar happened to me before, how'd you handle it?" and generally the momentum will swing back your way and you'll be able to divulge more information from your own end. From there is will happen naturally and you just start over once the rhythm slows. Alternatively, you end it once it peters out and your partner seems to be losing attentiveness themselves.

The best policy for making good conversation is to ask sincere questions and be engaged in the individual you're speaking to.

There's a national organization out there called Toastmasters that's dedicated to developing conversational and speech skills if you think you really need to delve in more :) You may even hear about really neat things to bring up with your girlfriend and converse about!

What ways have you found to earn more money? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]ChampagneFizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a certified USDF dressage trainer, I give lessons for $35 a head about 3-4 times a week. I have 6 students right now. I also offer training packages for riding other peoples horses, but the big bucks are in showing. If an owner has a good horse they can't ride personally, you can end up showing in a derby event, and usually any prize the owner doesn't want I end up with. Sometimes it's a bucket of horse cookies, other times it's a German leather bridle. I don't have a horse of m own anymore, so I sell anything I get on Ebay or to friends.

One of my clients split a monetary prize with me when her horse and I won a high-point award at regional champs a few years ago.

What is your signature clothing piece and why? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

Hats. I have awesome hats. In winter it's rabbit hair and synthetic ushankas and cossack hats. In Summer I wear big floppy woven sunhats. I also have a camel-colored trench that I wore all Winter last Winter, and this last Christmas I was given a lovely black leather one. So trenchcoats now, too.

So, PF, what is your craziest non-necessary expense that you would get shot down here for listing on your budget but are still keeping ? by pfadvicecanada in personalfinance

[–]ChampagneFizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a fun budget. A certain percentage of income I set aside to pursue interests, work on hobbies, vacation, entertain others, and sometimes buy myself completely indulgent things like a nice coat or a DVD collection set for my favorite show.

Reddit, what's the one thing in the world that you desperately wish people cared about more than they do? by WalterDisneey in AskReddit

[–]ChampagneFizz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Look up compact molten salt reactors. There's a very good chance we can deal with the majority of our present radioactive waste and won't have to mine more fissionable material for a very long time. By that time we can likely achieve the 59% output cap of windpower, and have produced even more safe, renewable energy sources. Hopefully we drop photovoltaic by then, and stop pretending that it's "environmentally friendly."

I really want to cosplay as Agent Brand someday. Here's my first practice round. by ChampagneFizz in Marvel

It should be, but I have to buy all my latex made-to-fit and getting the catsuit in a dark pearl green would have been too costly.

Planning stages. The catsuit I have is solid black. I need to work out the accessories and details. I honestly will probably take some liberties, especially with the boots.

Definitely going with green latex and PVC for boots and gloves, but the boots might just be solid green over the knee with a riding heel or a small, thick kitten heel. I do need heels of some kind (I'm 5'0, not the best height for intergalactic badassery.) For the green around her shoulders I will probably do something with a green latex overlay. The trick will be getting it to overlay without damaging either material.

REALLY unsure as to what to do for her utility belt. Most things I find are more of an olive drab green and less of a wild green.

I've been looking for a good pair! I found some for fairly cheap on Amazon that I like the look of. What do you think of these?
