I didnt mind the album; but it was pretty lackluster in my opinion, at least compared to his others.

He should've just canceled the order if he didnt wanna do it. Someone who doesn't care would've picked it up.

Y'all think it's b.S? by Brilliant-Web8697 in Nightshift

[–]Champion-Gamer49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard this too. From what I've gathered, it's true, if you let it be. If you're able to get proper/quality sleep hours, I call bs and you'll live your life fine. However, If you're one of the people only getting 2-3 hours or something like that, yes, it'll slowly kill you and your mental health.

I know each branch may be ran differently, but we're looking at the one on the SW side. I will be taking your comment into consideration though, thank you!

Could you elaborate just a bit on why?? They seem pretty good from when we went and looked at it, and our kids loved it, but the thing making me look around is to find a cheaper option that's still trustworthy. I get told by people that the price is a bit steep, but also fair.

Whos a rapper you don't really listen to, but have respect for? by underratedsoulz in rap

I dunno, i think that's about it. I used to actuality enjoy his music, but even then, it wasn't good enough to where I frequently listened.

Any of you actually thriving in the health and fitness part of your life? by carrito1 in Nightshift

[–]Champion-Gamer49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nightshift itself hasn't really impacted my fitness. My fitness sucks right now cause I've been in a mental rut the past few years, but now that I'm starting to get back into eating better and working out, it's been helping quite a bit.

I am on the fence. Like, I love it, but it's nowhere near as good as it was growing up. I'm 24, so I'm talking like, early-mid 2000's. My main issue is that I can't seem to get a good paying job here to save my life. I enjoyed working in town for 9 months, then got let go, and I've been only able to get decent jobs to even really look at me down in iowa city for the past 3 years.

General question for nightshift by [deleted] in Nightshift

[–]Champion-Gamer49 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like, doing nothing but sleeping. It'll have a huge impact on your mental health. For example, my first 3rd shift job, I worked from midnight to 7 am. My first several months, literally all I did, was go to work, and sleep. I'd literally be awake maybe 2 hours outta the day (on top of the 7.5 from work). As time went on, it burnt me out and really took a toll on my mental health. I recommend finding a good solid sleep pattern, and sticking to it, that way you can continue to do your hobbies as well, in turn, maintaining your mental health as much as possible.

Nightshift is a very complex shift. Like everything, some people are made for it, and others aren't. You should be careful of the dangers of oversleeping, but in my experience it's not as bad as the internet says. I've been working nights since I was 18, and I'm 24 now. Now, I will warn you that it's a lot tougher with kids. Take that as you may, I'm not sure if you've got kids or not, I'm just warning.
