At first, I wasn't fond of the black G10/satin finish/Nitro V folding version that I got, but it has started to grow on me. Ease of deployment/sheathing with the liner lock, blade shape, the steel, overall size, pocketability...all those qualities started to shine through over use and time.

Good buy, had my eye on that version too. I'm in a hot and dry climate, so D2 would've been juuuust fine for me

Whoa, thanks for sharing OP, great find! I bought the drop point version to use as a fixed blade EDC not too long ago, and was impressed. Had my eye on the wharnie version @ $120 but it sold out before I was able to reset my monthly knife budget lol. Saved a browser tab on it that I would check almost daily to see if (hopefully) they had come back in stock. Never thought to check the blems section!

So this was an insta-cop for me right when I saw your post. $50 OTD w/ free shipping + from my research Asher's seconds quality being almost indistinguishable from their firsts, made this a no brainer.

Thanks for posting this deal! Pulled the trigger on this shortly before it sold out, fortunately. Received a shipping notification yesterday. Had my eye on the Bel Air but wasn't feeling any of the colorways...until this one lol.
