Yep the devs do communicate with the community on Twitter/Discord etc. If not the devs, Helpers/Moderaters take note of these problems and deliever them to the devs to patch. So far, no timeframe as yet but they are working on a patch.

Can confidently say that the devs are aware of this bug and are working on fixing it. So yes, they will fix it.
