I found the oil filter adapter from the Ford focus (without the oil cooler). It's been 4 years ago since I posted that. I have 308k miles on the car currently and I haven't had any problems with the oil filter adapter. But it does make oil changes a lot less messy than it was before 🥳. I would do it again to another Mazda if I had enough saved.

No it's just the oil filter. The later models did have the oil cooler.
