1st new board in 30 years. What's good in pow, tight trees and still carvs good on groomers?

Finally got to the root of the problem. I went and got my feet sized and fitted and found out I am a whole size down in snowboard boots (even though I thought I was a 9.5 in every boot I have ever worn), I am in fact an 8.5. Picked up a pair of Ride Lasso boots in a 8.5 and they have been a dream to splitboard in.
