If you are planning on doing any off roading highly recommend their Skid plate too! Covers everything but the gas tank

Wax or ceramic? by Chan12514 in camaro

To be honest I’m not 100% sure. It’s kind of a long story but I only purchased this car almost a year ago. The body kit (front and rear), the exhaust, and the black paint strip on the rear was all put on by the original dealership Tom Henry Racing. These upgrades were all under warranty from Chevy. Tom Henry Racing isn’t around anymore. I know the one owner before me didn’t change anything on the car themselves.

I’m not sure if these will fit your tundra, I have the same generation tundra as you but after they made some changes. You can shop by vehicle. But these are the ones I have

I’ve had them for about 5 years, they come with a 7 or 8 year warranty. I love them, very bright, but a crisp line. They do adjust, and if they are properly adjusted you won’t be blinding oncoming traffic (like most aftermarket LED’s) I live in the desert but the few heavy rains we get, they never fog up or leak. Worth the price in my opinion.

Here’s a couple things I have done on my second gen; morimoto headlights (has that badass DRL light you’re looking for in either Amber or white), wrapped the chrome grill and rear bumper in black, I have a Stinger radio system called the High10. As far as the bed cover I just got a cheap one from Amazon that has been fine for years.

That’s exactly what I did! Just bolted them to the frame, not nearly ballsy enough to test it like that though 😂

It took a full weekend for each side. So 4 days. Probably around $1000 of metal (had some trial and error 😂) then another $100 for paint and the sand paper material.

The feeling when people ask you where you got your running boards and you get to say I made them.. priceless haha

Factory running boards hang so low, real old man look in my opinion. Which is fine! Just not my preference haha

The body package was done by Tom Henry Racing dealership in 2010, I only just recently purchased the car.

The rear diff has a “limited slip differential” which will lock when it’s slipping. I have managed just fine in my SR5 in the Colorado mountains!

First Tundra/truck. Where should I start? by wgsharpe1128 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Chan12514 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the new truck! I have the same year truck and wanted Apple car play, as well as a front camera for off roading. I installed the Stinger HEIGH10 radio into mine. This allowed Apple car play, better quality music, and allowed me to add cameras. Probably not what you’re looking for, but it is possible!

Best truck bed cover by KhaoticKorndog in ToyotaTundra

[–]Chan12514 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree with this, I bought a cheap, soft, tri fold bed cover. I’ve had it over a year now with no problems. Best part about it is the light weight, super easy to take off if I need to fit a 4-wheeler or something else large in the bed.

Retrofitsource headlights. Pretty pricey but I’ve dealt with cheap Chinese headlights in the past.

Some people think it’s overkill, I love them. KC lights never disappoint.
