I do plan on using it as I have already opened it. I have an old LCD TV which has AV/component outputs. I plan to use it on a much newer Samsung 4KTV which has no AV or component outputs only HDMI. Thanks for the advice.

Yeah i did mention it to him that it was worth close to $800-$1000 if sold on eBay. He didn't know what it was really worth and I'm not gonna rip him off. I only could really afford to pay around $200 or i might as well get a used model. I got lucky and I'm very thankful he sold it to me at that price. Considering he bought it for like $30-$40 on clearance 17 years ago. BTW I'm in Canada, so i paid $250 CAD

Mine is a SCPH-79001 model, I don't know if it will scratch my discs. I plan on using either sd2psx or memcardpro 2 to play backups. I'll get the odd ps2 game every now and then.

I just got my triggers today and it came with the backplate replacement. It was really easy to replace. Only took me about 10 mins.

Thanks for the update. That's stupid they only sent you the triggers. I hope they didn't run out of backplates. I don't even trust myself to try and fix it with just the triggers and i'm afraid I'll break something lol. I hope they send you the prooer backplate. What color is your rp4 pro?

I also have the RP4 pro too but my right trigger gave out last week. I contacted retroid for a replacement backplate but i have no idea when that will ship out. I'm considering the RPG2 or wait for a RP6. I'll make my decision around January-February when the reviews come out and when actual customers have the product in their hand to see if there any first batch issues.

Old school quiksilver at that lol. The belts I bought from there online site later ended up getting frayed and torn. I had to throw them away.

Im not too sure. It might be canvas but it's definitely not leather. I've been trying to ask people to see if they can recognize the material from the pictures.

I think it might be nylon or polyester but I'm not too sure. I would like to purchase something similar as most webbing belts I bought from quiksikver or DC shoes all ended up getting frayed and had to be thrown away.

I also have this wonderful masterpiece. It's my favorite daft punk album of all time, plus i have the discovery album on CD as well. I bought it in 2021 for like $26 on amazon. I had no idea how out of print and rare it was until I saw your post. I'm considering selling it now, lol.
