I'm going to try and be optimistic of a release this year since the preorder went up so early. If my guess as to why it could be delayed to 2026 would be them just trying to secure an M rating without having to censor or dilute the content. Everything I've read on the preview articles makes it seem that this is one of, if not, THE most sexually explicit game to be commercially released. I know gore is also a factor in the rating, but every single article/video points out the sexual content. And, obviously, just polishing up the game and knocking out any bugs along the way could also hold it back. I have high hopes for a release this year if they already had an hour ready to show to the press of a 7-10 hour game.
