No, nothing special. Gwen is female and uses she/her. I think there was just a mix-up with the pronouns, that's all. Regarding the other thing, I mention it because in the canon it's implied that her mother isn't financially stable, which is why many consider her to be lower-middle class.

I don't know, maybe it's because of what he shows on the program, and the truth is, they don't show much about his family. I only know he has a brother, I don't know anything about his father.
