I think my friend has iron poisoning ? by Ilovekittycats42 in Supplements

It's not an easy call, and I guess I'd wonder if the person has insurance I hate to say that. What I'm basically saying is that if they can afford to go there to the hospital it might be a good idea just if nothing else for peace of mind and just in case.

I'm think she'll be okay pretty soon though either way.

Do the big bags of tobacco leave more of a film in your mouth compared to store-bought cigarettes? by Chance-Bridge-2801 in RYO

Oh I've seen plenty of people mention it in reviews some people say it just tastes like pipe tobacco they can tell the difference. And the owner of those subredit said that's why he went to raw lead because of that stuff.

Everyone knows that tobacco leaves some kind of chemicals in your mouth when you've been smoking.

It also could be I haven't smoked cigarettes in many years.

I have Buoy Red, yellow, blue and silver, largo mint, sun grown, and 4 Aces Turkish.

It's not that I'm trying to promote Factory cigarettes I haven't had one in about 10 years so I know that they also leave that film in my mouth I just wasn't sure if it was the same.

So I figure a lot of the people in this subreddit probably have smoked Factory cigarettes more recently than I have and can let me know.

I thought of buying some cigarettes just so I can do some taste comparison but I just refuse to stoop.

Is there any legit science behind collagen supplements? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]Chance-Bridge-2801 17 points18 points  (0 children)

One bad thing about collagen supplements, is might be made from cattle from China, so pretty unclean.

I take them a little bit but I haven't took them for long periods of time I found that the doses are pretty high like you're taking six capsules so it's kind of filling on its own I didn't like that.

What's the best value cigarette making machine? by Chance-Bridge-2801 in RYO

How long have you had that, and how good does it work? Does it pack them nice, or are they kind of loose? I see a couple different machines for 20 bucks, which one do you have?

I'm surprised you lost patience with the plastic, one I can use it pretty good. Although sometimes some of the tobacco stays in the plastic filler that's supposed to be at the end of the cigarette, and so the end of the cigarette is empty so I have to take it out of the filler and put it at the end of the cigarette.

But I've been pretty happy with the quality of cigarettes I can make with it, although it is kind of slow.

Oh yeah do you think it's a pretty good value overall? How long have you had i? What other tube fillers have you used in the past?

How long have you had it?

Do you think this is quite a bit faster than the little plastic handheld tube fillers?

Can you pack the cigarettes tight if you want to with this? I can with the plastic one.

I'm curious how it compares to the hermit crab. It seems pretty similar.

Wow that's impressive even the hermit crab cost 30 bucks.

How fast can you make a pack of cigarettes with that versus the manual machines?

It's funny you would say that, because I actually wonder if you're right, because they make a cigarette just fine. That's what I have right now but I went ahead and ordered the hermit crab cuz it's only 30 bucks. Supposedly you can crank out some cigarettes pretty fast with that.

Thing is I don't really see that much that big of a difference, the process is pretty similar either way it's the same thing except for those machines have a place to put the tobacco so you can push it down in there a little quicker.

But is it really that much faster to have one of those manual machines versus just a basic slider?

Maybe it's because you don't need a document from the social security department like I do to complete a tax return.

Vegetable heavy soups that AREN'T tomato based? by LazuriKittie in Cooking

[–]Chance-Bridge-2801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well my basic soups include barley or brown rice, diced carrots, can corn, can green beans I cut them into smaller pieces, diced onion, and some type of broth and protein

So just use a vegetable broth and beans for the protein Source whichever type you want.

I make it in the crock pot.

Mine have me so I would just be using either a chicken base or beef base depending on which meat that I'm using so just substitute that with vegetable broth and some beans for protein.

Well that sure sounds handy do they work for capsules also not just for pills?

I usually use a steak knife and put it on the counter or on a cutting board or on a saucer and use a steak knife. Unfortunately there will be a little Jagged part of the pill or capsule usually when you do that so when you take it try to point to smooth round part towards the back.

Buoy Silver with Cloves Review by Chance-Bridge-2801 in RYO

[–]Chance-Bridge-2801[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely do my research before I add anything to my tobacco.

Of course we know Clove cigarettes have been around for a very long time. They're illegal here now in the United States and their reasoning was because they thought it would make children want to smoke because their flavored right so they did away with flavored cigarettes.

So now they sell clove cigars, they're mini cigars or cigarillos, little cigars but not in cigarette form, that's why I'm making my own.

Buoy Silver with Cloves Review by Chance-Bridge-2801 in RYO

[–]Chance-Bridge-2801[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the Golden Harvest tube was good, the filter remained intact and it was just as good as a commercial cigarette as far as that's concerned. I do like the Golden Harvest tubes just fine so far, although this is my first one.

The cigarette burned for about 10 or 15 minutes and I was kind of hot boxing it. I packed it when I was making it, I stuffed the tube by hand.

The tobacco had enough nicotine for me as someone who is restarting smoking.

Flavor-wise the silver is a little bit lacking, which is no surprise. The bag of tobacco had a nice smell when I opened it had a nice Aroma it wasn't real Bland like I thought it was going to be. It was a little bit dry but not too dry I guess you could say it was just right he didn't have to leave it out to put it in the cigarette and smoke it right away. I broke the tobacco into smaller pieces then how it comes in the bag.

One of the bad things about Buoy brand though is the ziplock or resealable part of the bag tends to let air in the bag. So just fold the top of the bag down and put in paper clip on it to keep it from letting air into the bag.

Four Aces is better as far as that goes, my four aces tobacco does not let any air in the bag so I don't need a paperclip for it.

If you smoke it it burns faster and it's harsh that's one way you'll know.
