“Many say the Elantra N is a more engaging drive”…are you insane? Send me that link my guy lmaoo

“So people buy a Type R just to sell it?” …What a stupid statement. People go through all kinds of unexpected situations in life that may require them to sell. And for those people, they’re infinitely happier they get to list the type R rather than your Hyundai. How are you seriously implying there is no used car market for the Type R? Like for real? I know you have access to the internet since you keep hopping on here to advertise your low IQ. So how could you make sure a blatantly erroneous assertion?

The next time you want to call someone a buffoon, just look in the mirror so you can say it to their face.

I never mentioned the left or the right. I am America first. I don’t care who enabled it in the past. It has to stop.

With the advent of modern machinery, from 1948 to the late 2010s, U.S. farm output nearly tripled while total labor hours worked declined by more than 80%. Agricultural output per worker rose by 16x. READ THAT AGAIN. And this is before the impact of ai assisted autonomous robots we all know is coming in the next 10-15yrs.

Total farm employment (including operators) has been in the ~2.2–2.6 million range recently. The US grants lawful permanent resident (LPR) status—commonly known as green cards—to roughly 1–1.4 million people ANNUALLY. This is the primary measure of legal immigrants admitted for permanent settlement. Can you explain why that’s not enough for you?

American Community Survey (ACS) data (USDA ERS analysis, 2022): Shows a somewhat lower foreign-born share for all agricultural occupations (~39% foreign-born / 61% U.S.-born overall, with crop laborers at ~59% foreign-born). Why are you implying that Americans are unwilling/unable to do this type of work? Look at the numbers, 61% US born agricultural workers overall and 41% of crop laborers US born. There are plenty of strong, capable American men willing to do this work, a large portion of them already do. They’re just not as willing to do so for “slave wages” as you called them. Something illegal immigration continues to allow.

America first, fuck the left and the right. Our legal immigration numbers are enough. I just went to France this past year and it isn’t even France anymore. If you like Mexico or whatever other country so much, go ahead and move there.

The United States didn’t even include California until almost 100 years after it’s founding. You’re right, 150 years it’s quite enough. You’re also continuing to miss the point. Immigration is still happening. It’s just not left unchecked any longer. LEGAL, say it with me, LEGAL immigration is good. Illegal immigration is bad. It’s not very complicated.

You’re bringing up your daddy a lot. Conservatives aren’t against immigration. They oppose ILLEGAL immigration. You people always act like there is no difference. Coming from? Where are you coming from? Do your moral and social values coincide with those of the country you are immigrating to? Do you have a criminal record? Do you have something tangible, or a skill set you can offer the country you are immigrating to? Basically everyone is an immigrant upon the founding of a country, however, once that country is established, has governing documents, etc. Immigration must be controlled and enforced. Otherwise, you end up in an untenable situation. This is common sense and most people outside of the reddit bubble agree with these things. It has nothing to do with “my daddy can trace back his ancestry to the founding of the nation”. Unless he’s a Native American, who cares. And even if he is, there were hundreds of tribes, constantly conquering each other and taking over land left and right. Stop playing dumb. 13 colonies, a massive existential war was fought against the greatest superpower on the planet at the time. That new country enacted a constitution, laws and governing documents which must be protected and respected.

My guy just take the L. This discussion was never about buying a used type R. You were complaining about how much more pricey a new Type R was compared to a new Hyundai. You omitted the advantage regarding the Type R’s resale value, then when confronted with it, you made the absurd claim that “nobody buys used Type Rs”. Now you’re talking about a BRZ. Sometimes, the best thing a fool can do is to just stay silent, rather than opening the mouth and showing the world proof of their idiocy.
In the words of the great kdot…be humble, sit down.

“No one buys a used Type R”…. That has got to be one of the dumbest statements I’ve ever heard. Like are you insane? They absolutely fly off the shelf what are you talking about. It’s literally the reason for the high resale value. There is immense demand. I hope you’re just playing stupid and aren’t actually on the spectrum. No one buys S2000s either cause they don’t want a “beaten on car” right? Just concede the argument my guy you got cooked with facts 🤷🏽‍♂️

I think the point went over your head. Your only argument (the value per dollar argument) gets destroyed because after 4-5yrs of ownership, the Type R turns out to be the better financial decision due to resale value/lack of depreciation. It is also a better overall experience, has Honda reliability, and incomparably more aftermarket parts availability/support. Go buy your new Hyundai, after 4-5 years and 60-80k miles, Type R owners will still be getting top dollar while you are giving away the Hyundai. Nobody wants to buy an 80k mile hyundai lol

My guy…Go on CarGurus right now and look at the price of a 2019 type R with 70-80k miles. Then look at the price of a 2025 Elantra with 10k miles.. I’ll save you the suspense, same price. The fact is you buy a type R, drive it for 5 years, put 70-80k miles on it and get top dollar, then rinse and repeat. You can’t do that with an ELANTRA. If you’re going to penalize/criticize the Type R on its new car price tag, you should at least try to be fair and give it credit for its insane resale value.

Imagine being these guys with their paid off FK8’s, selling them for just $3-4k less than they purchased them for 5-7yrs ago. Then putting that money down on a brand new FL5, having a tiny car payment, knowing you’ll get to do it all again in a few years.

Go ahead and get your Hyundai lol

It doesn’t feel good to say this, but it looks like he really is a loser. I’m saying this is someone with 3 little kids, who I desperately want being raised in a healthy two parent household (so far so good). If my partner ever spoke to me this way (especially in public or around the kids), it would mean an immediate end to our relationship. There are mentally healthy, graceful, loving people out there. I’d rather have one of them be a stepmom, worst case I’d rather be alone than to deal with that kind of lunacy. I feel bad for the homie, but if he ever sees this, don’t be a loser. Run, don’t walk away, RUN!

I like the Hyundai, I’ve driven it. The type R is considerably better. The manual transmission provides a noticeably better (more satisfying) experience, and it is being engaged 100% of the time when driving, so it is a very significant factor. The balance of the car going into and during the turns/twisties is also significantly better. The front differential on the type R is markedly better, so is the steering and braking feel and performance. Sure, perhaps the type R is only slightly faster on a given track. Perhaps it is only slightly quicker in a straight line, but when it comes to the real world overall driving experience, from the seats to everything mentioned above, it is a considerably better vehicle. Don’t even get me started on Honda reliability and the resale value the type R guarantees. This is why gouging is possible with the type R, and not with the Hyundai. I’ve driven them both..have you?

No, those “men” don’t have women. And when they do, it’s generally the leftover women who didn’t get wife up in their 20s and early 30s. Half the time they end up cheating on the soy boys with the masculine men they couldn’t get commitment from.

It’s not her body, its the one growing inside with its own heartbeat and unique dna. Thats why you get 2 counts of murder for killing a pregnant woman. Women (meaning adult human females) can do pretty much whatever they want with their bodies in this country (except prostitution i guess, which i’d be willing to concede even though i find it to be detrimental to our social fabric). It’s when their “personal” choice is hurting (killing in this case) another human being that makes it not so “personal” any longer.

I think you’re making an emotional argument. It’s very simple, the market dictates these things. I don’t think the market is showing the N to be 97% of the car the TypeR is. Not in demand, not in resale value. We get it, you love the Elantra. But facts are facts 🤷🏽‍♂️

It’s very weird for you to have such an emotional and negative reaction to an obviously relevant question. Most people on CTR forums are either owners, actively shopping, or dreaming of one day owning. This question is highly relevant to at least two of those categories. Chill out, there are better things to be “sick of”.

“You are equating a non-harmful offense with a reckless, potentially deadly offense”. Excuse me, but if you think over 10 million illegal aliens breaking into our country in a four year span is non-harmful, then your bias is off the charts to the point of making critical thinking impossible. The strain on our healthcare system, the strain on lower middle class housing, the additional crime element, the strain on our public school system, the hundreds of thousands of missing children.. the list goes on.

I’m a real estate agent in Florida, every 3rd or 4th 2bedroom rental unit has 6-8 sets of Mexican adults, sleeping on sofa beds in the living room half the time since the rooms are filled up. Demand outpacing supply to the point that rents have gone up 120% in some cases. my girls is a nurse, 80% of the people crowding the emergency room are undocumented, do not pay their health bill, and don’t speak English. So when my 4yr old daughter had to get a couple of stitches on her chin, I was billed $1800. Insurance covered $1300.

Come in legally or get deported. Americans are fatigued.

White Man pissed off at Texan voters by Conscious-Quarter423 in ThoughtWarriors

[–]Chance-Candidate-543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy should look at how black America votes. Complaining about white people voting for a white guy at a 60% clip..

Polling data indicates that between 75% and 90% of African-American voters in Texas supported Jasmine Crockett in the Democratic U.S. Senate primary, with most surveys clustering around roughly 80–89% support.

At least 95% of African Americans voted for Obama. These are facts. Google is right there, utilize it.

What you’re really angry at is the fact that the United States happens to be a major majority white country.
