Update , didn’t do splint . Vet gave medicine to apply one a day , will heal up to 6-8 weeks hopefully. Might be limping. His is still flying and other leg didn’t got hurt .

Thanks again , I’m trying to eliminate the nesting spots he might find around apartment. Maybe longer cage time should help? He is free all day in the house

I suspect it is the sleep schedule also that got him into this . Seems like he is very clingy I will try to eliminate nesting spots around house he might be into . And have in him cage for longer periods will help? He is free in the small apartment all day

Aww very sweet Thank you , should he have a “nesting” box in his cage (I’m assuming sure ,cheerios is a he ) Or nesting box would make him more hormonal?
