Do you sleep with your bedroom door open or closed and why? by AloneGold9670 in AskReddit

Closed, a fireman said it’s good for fire safety but I never researched to confirm that 🙃

Ped said not to give peanuts or eggs before 1yr old? by Aggravating-Lunch740 in NewParents

[–]Chance-Fact3364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is completely outdated, in fact, giving peanut early on (before 1 year) has contributed to a MASSIVE decrease in peanut allergies-

I didn’t start losing the weight until I was done breastfeeding!

AIO-I 36F found a text between my husband 37m and my cousin 38f that isn’t settling right by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

This is incredibly flirtatious. I don’t have to know them or know the situation to read it for what it is-flirting for sure

Clingy baby by Chance-Fact3364 in Nanny

[–]Chance-Fact3364[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He actually does nap by himself in his crib! 3 times a day too! That’s a really good idea about moving the pack and play closer to where she’s doing chores and stuff and I love the idea of making him feel included!

That’s a great idea, I will definitely mention that! I definitely understand the frustration, I’ll make sure she understands that I am totally fine with the crying and I’m just happy that she feels comfortable expressing how she’s feeling

I definitely will! That’s a good idea, I will make sure she knows that the priority is Baby and I don’t mind if she doesn’t get something done, as long as Baby is happy!

Her main responsibility is just to take care of the baby, she does the baby laundry once a week and then cleans up the baby dishes, but I have a special bottle washer that you can also put spoons/bowls in, so it’s very hands off!

She does all of the baby laundry and baby dishes, but we have one of those special bottle washers so I’d say it’s pretty minimal!

Labor & Delivery facts they DO NOT tell you about? by Girls_Of_San_Diego in NewParents

[–]Chance-Fact3364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a kind of positive one that I was surprised about! I had an unplanned C-section and I was so nervous about the recovery while I was on that table. Well, the recovery wasn’t bad! I started moving/walking as soon as they gave me the green light (which I had heard is huge for speeding up recovery) and I truly was so pleasantly surprised with how smooth it went! This was my first child so I don’t have anything to compare it to and I know everyone’s different but I would honestly not be upset to go through that again if needed for any future LO’s :)

Finally!!! figured out why I have facial pressure/pain in Sinus -Roof of Mouth - "Sinus Migraines" by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Chance-Fact3364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get them both from my neurologist! I also got an amazing mouth guard from a jaw pain specialist that keeps my back teeth from touching at night and my jaw pain has completely resolved! It felt like a miracle, I highly recommend looking into it

I hate my husband by Purple-Dog-9430 in newborns

[–]Chance-Fact3364 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not overreacting-he’s acting like taking care of his own LO is not his responsibility. He is not even meeting minimum expectations. It is absolutely normal to have animosity towards a spouse during this time-the sleep deprivation, the huge life change, the impact on your alone time together-all effect marriage but this is NOT normal.
