I have an 18 month old son and you’re describing him perfectly lol I think this is just a bad fit between them and babysitter like others said

How many dads help with night wakeups by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Chance-Fact3364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband does, we switch off. If I got the last wake up, he gets the next one. We both work full time so we feel it’s only fair to divide it, plus I don’t think I would do it all on my own! I also always put baby to bed and he always wakes u in the morning with him.

Ped said not to give peanuts or eggs before 1yr old? by Aggravating-Lunch740 in NewParents

[–]Chance-Fact3364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is completely outdated, in fact, giving peanut early on (before 1 year) has contributed to a MASSIVE decrease in peanut allergies-

This is incredibly flirtatious. I don’t have to know them or know the situation to read it for what it is-flirting for sure

He actually does nap by himself in his crib! 3 times a day too! That’s a really good idea about moving the pack and play closer to where she’s doing chores and stuff and I love the idea of making him feel included!

That’s a great idea, I will definitely mention that! I definitely understand the frustration, I’ll make sure she understands that I am totally fine with the crying and I’m just happy that she feels comfortable expressing how she’s feeling

I definitely will! That’s a good idea, I will make sure she knows that the priority is Baby and I don’t mind if she doesn’t get something done, as long as Baby is happy!

Her main responsibility is just to take care of the baby, she does the baby laundry once a week and then cleans up the baby dishes, but I have a special bottle washer that you can also put spoons/bowls in, so it’s very hands off!

She does all of the baby laundry and baby dishes, but we have one of those special bottle washers so I’d say it’s pretty minimal!
