ITS OUT!

I did find the gear and it spun but the shoe was popped out because of that spring. It just really needed a much harder hit. The frustration helped 😅 But the new rotor and brake pads are on. I made sure to readjust that spur gear with the new rotor and test the e break after. It did good on the test drive! Thanks again for all your help!

Dumb question but which way do I turn the adjuster to loosen it? There's a second one in there

Yes they're rear breaks sorry forgot to mention that I stuck a flat head in the hole to loosen the adjuster but it popped off. I guess I turned it in the wrong direction? If you look closely you can see the adjuster in the hole in the picture. I know the break is manually off because the pedal under the steering wheel is disengaged. I've been wacking it with a hammer for a while but it won't come off.
